Moogel
Me and a few friends are starting fire running. Fire running is like air running, but i will tell you the details. Fire-running is on world 38. The crafters will say open, the runner will trade 25 un-noted essence and the crafter will put up 25 noted essence and 1k. Seeing how fire runes are not so much in demand, this would help the economy. We currently need some crafters to help start this. Help spread the word about this, and tell me what you think. My second choice was body-running, but body runes are completely useless. This feels exceptional on my under-carriage.
ThreeLeggedLion
This won't work. First it's further away than the air altar, and second why would anyone want to make half the money just because the demand isn't that high?
Moogel
Well, it will improve on money once this gets going. This feels exceptional on my under-carriage.
Toxicologist
Just because you increase supply does not automatically increase demand... Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims. ~Toxicologist~
Moogel
Well, air-running increased the supply, which increased the demand. This feels exceptional on my under-carriage.
ThreeLeggedLion
It doesn't work like that, the air altar is EXTREMELY close to the fally bank. Making it profitable, what do you have against air running anyway?

Moogel
So how much cash, or which runes? So what, if it's not close to the bank, fire runes are actually pretty useful. This feels exceptional on my under-carriage.
ThreeLeggedLion
No. Air runes are nice because then you can use them to cast earth/water/fire attacks, all with 3 staffs and x amount of air runes. if you have a bunch of fire runes, they're only useful with an air staff. Sorry =/ this idea won't ever catch on.
Moogel
Yes, but fire strike is the best strike for f2p all with craftable f2p runes. This feels exceptional on my under-carriage.
jemathonical
Maybe raise the price to 3k per run? More people would come, since it is more exp for the Runecrafter ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
Pretzel
Yes, but fire strike is the best strike for f2p all with craftable f2p runes. Fire strike is by far cheaper with air runes and a fire staff as opposed to fire runes and an air staff. Sorry to get you down, but your idea is not all that good. Air running is only profitable to crafters because of the high amount of runes you can get at relatively low levels. You can make a maximum of what 3 or 4 fires per run, at which point you could make 8 or 9 airs per run. To link this to running, it may not be as much xp-wise, but it is far better money wise for both the runners and the crafters. Fire runners would make less profit (because of distance of fire altar) and so would the crafters (because of less demand and less fires made) Free to Player fo' life!99/99 skateboarding :pwhy dont you use this awesome thing i like to call common sense. Its done wonders for me, ive never been hacked, scammed or anything like that.
Moogel
Like i said in my first post (at least i am pratty sure i did :uhh: ) the price would raise once it started to get going and it was more popular. This feels exceptional on my under-carriage.
ThreeLeggedLion
You're missing the big picture. It'll never catch on as a popular rune to run. It's too far from the bank. It's too spell specific. It'll just never happen, there's no way.
All_Is_Great
My second choice was body-running, but body runes are completely useless. btw, bodies arent useless. my pure trains magic with it all the time cuz it gives no def exp :D :D anyways, i dont think fire running will work
unorclan
hmmmm...since everyone says no, lol what about lob running? who knows how it'd work.... Thanks to the amazing talent of Jopie211 for the sig!Finest Fist of Guthix Strategy Guide
stratotanker
If anything, mind runes are more popular. You need them for all low level mage attacks, and since they are worth a bit o' cash, it's worth it. Although, the shorter path to the mind temple is quite hazardous, since it goes in the wildy (lvl 4 wild is the max, I believe.) I always used to go the looong way from a fally bank to craft minds (probably wont craft any even though i now know bout this) when i was noobish. firsttsurugi
it would be better to hire members to craft members runes that f2p can use to cast spells. f2p would be more than willing to buy these runes because they can't just craft them and there is usually a pretty low stock at the mage stores. Currently will be using my Oni Tsurugi account to attempt to get 99 on all free skills without spending any gp, just for the sake of doing so.
