Goddess, there is a genetic predisposition to obesity, however very few people are unable to maintain a 'healthy' weight.

 

 

 

Hell, I weight 57kg and I'm 5'10" whilst everyone else in my family weighs at least 100kg and I'm tall amongst them, I share a lot of their genes. I hate when people use statistics to compensate for the fact they're overweight, almost everyone could stand to be more healthy so I'd rather not hear some "I can't lose weight no matter what" crap.

 

 

 

Look at any country where luxuries that help cause obesity do not exist. Far fewer people are overweight.
