Satenza
Did you know America tried to develop a gay bomb in 1994 and wasted 7.5 million on it? It would be dropped on enemy soliders and they would find each other so attractive they would lose all organization and begin passionatley loving each other. Yeah, thats not a joke either. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

If a fascist party somehow got the power, there most likely wouldn't even be any too dramatical chances in USA :P I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm

warri0r45
Fungi Facts: Some can grow to monumental proportions; if you walk through the Malheur National Forest in eastern Oregon, USA and notice a few clumps of honey mushrooms (Armillaria ostoyae) they are not each an individual fungus. Rather, they are all merely the above ground extention of a single enourmous fungus. It's subterranean network of filaments spreads through around 890 hectares of the forest - more than the area of 1600 football fields. Based on its current growth rate, scientists estimate this fungus, which weights hundreds of tons, has been growing for 2600 years. Fungi are in the fungi kingdom in the 5 kingdom system of taxonomy. In the 3 domain system, they form part of the Eukarya domain, along with plants and animals, based on thier cell type. Although around 100,000 species have been discribed, as many as 1.5 million species are estimated to exist. Although some fungi, such as yeasts, are single celled, most are multicelled and are structured to maximise absorbtion of nutrients from thier environment. As a result of this need for nutrients, the bodies of fungi form a series of tiny filaments called hyphae rather than one single solid body. As little as 1 cubic centimeter of a fungal body may contain as much as 1 kilometer of hyphae filaments the total surface area of which being around 300 square centimeters. The cell wall in fungi contains chitin, a nitrogenous sugar polymer also found in the exoskeleton of crayfish, lobster, crab, etc, making them more related to animals than plants. The hyphae of a particular class of fungi, called coenocytic fungi, have no barriers between thier cells. As a result, each hyphae filament is in essence a single undivided cell (though not technically) with often hundreds of thousands of nuclei. The hyphae of some fungi can actually extend into plant cells in either a symbiotic or parasitic context. If parasitic, the hyphae of the fungi essentially drink the insides of the plant cells. Some fungal hyphae are actually adapted for trapping and killing prey, such as nematode worms. Fungi aid in the production of many foods and drinks; among them beer, some cheeses, soft drinks (a species of fungi is used to produce citric acid to add to them), bread, soy sauce, mushrooms and truffles (the last two for obvious reasons; they are themselves the fruiting bodies of fungi). The first antibiotic, penicillin, was produced from the fungi penicillium. Airborne fungal spores have been found 160km above the ground. Many plants rely on a symbiotic relationship with fungi to absorb nutrients which results in plants with fungal relationships growing faster. To digest food, fungi secrete powerful enzymes into thier immediate environment and absorb the newly broken down organic matter back into thier cells. What they did - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731#Activities Oh and many of Japan's convicted war criminals (from during the Facist era) are to this day, enshrined at the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo which is dedicated to remembering those who have given their lives for the Emperor of Japan. lymnli
No true communist state has ever been established, anywhere. It has never gone beyond the establishment of the temporary government which just ends up being ruled by a single dictator. Russia was a powerful militaristic Communist state from 1917-1990. that was on the otherside of the cold war along with China vs. Western nations : CHina was a strong COmmunist state after her civil war to mid 60's, until when she departed from Russia Cambodia, North Korea, Vietnam and Cuba were "minor scale" Communist nations. Communism is so incredibly stupid because it can't fail, we can blame China and Russia for not being in the right stage for communism to occur (as an antithesis to capitalism). Mao failed many times with unrealistic goals and plans (he was really a worse version of Stalin in that sense) , which led to the starvation of millions of chinese people. Not to mention the communist party in China has become the reverse of what communism really is. China is the new global proletariat, something which Communism set to destroy, but in China's case, only promoted and has given into the exploitation of their citizens by the rest of the world.
