Hello people of tipit. I played RS since august of 2005 and I have been playing on and off for quite a bit. I started out as someone who played about 25-30 minutes a day. Then my friends told me that they played RS also. They were level 90 and I was level 12. I wanted to get better so I started playing like 1-2 hours a day and no weekends (because of parents). When I made my first 1 million gp, I was not pleased. The cash pile said 1000k instead of 1M. I then realized that I needed 10Mil for the M in the cash pile. After months of merchanting, here it is!

Nice amount of cash, i wish i could get that much. I give you an 8/10 (when you get 1k ill give you a 10) I am aiming for 900 total 65 combat F2P, but my parents forced me to quit RS. Gl, and nice mining :thumbsup:

oh my god. i just got scammed outta 4million gp. i reached 14.1 mil and bam! its now back to 10mil.

NO absoulutely not. i am not begging for anything. i am just furious that i got scammed. it was totally my fault though. the sad truth is that i have to accept it.

10.6 so far. but i am concentrating in mining.

 

 

 

the thing is...i can only merchant well when i am unconsciously doing it. after the scam, i now have a goal which makes it very hard.

How exaclty did you get scammed? There are not a lot of scam people fall for.

i was seling two full zamms for 4mil. this level 102 offered 4000k and then switched it to 40004gp . i never expected it because normally such high levels are honest players. this guy had mining cape, so obviously he spent a lot of time on the account and would not risk a banning.

 

 

 

also jagex screwed the trade system so now millions of gp (under 10m) in trade are not in green anymore. like the color does not change so it kinda stinks.

 

 

 

the worst part is that i checked the trade screeen for 3 seconds and still got pwned.

Thats to bad that you got scammed...I have seen a lot of high level people try scamming me lately, you just really have to look at the second trade window... #-o Well if you really want that mask I say you should just forget about this and keep going! :D

11mil now. back in business?? my heart goes out to the buyer of a sara set for 2.5mil. i asked 2.35 and he offered 2.4. thinking this was a scam i declined and he offered 2.5.

 

 

 

but merchanting gets a bit harder now. sara prices have started to fall. people are starting to offer a buying price of 2.2 rather than 2.3 and sellers still ask 2.35 or higher.

 

 

 

i bought a set for 2.275 thinking i was a genius but realized the market fluctuation after being forced to sell 2.28.

 

 

 

for the last year the god armor prices have stayed constant. sara 2.3, zammy 2-2.05 and guthix at 1.25 but as the prices go down, buyer want a really low price and with every transaction, the avg buying price goes down.

 

 

 

its best to re-enter the sara market after a steady price range. and i am still terrified of rares. they are harder to sell now?! and what happened to disk prices. i had a seller wiling to take 7.6. i know disks were about 10.5 before.....
