Halloween '08

Yes I Know I'm thinking well ahead but this is big.(ish).

Halloween has come and business is booming for the Varrock Dress Store owner (forgot her name), problem is her lastest shipment of Costumes hasn't arrived.

 

 

 

How it goes.

 

Dress Store Owner: Oh what am I to do?

 

You: Give me free stuff?

 

Dress Store Owner: Oh, very funny [insert name], I'm in serious trouble.

 

You: How come?

 

Her: Well... look outside.

 

Cutscene. Kids are flocking outside the shop wanting costumes.

 

You: Oh I see, well how can I help?

 

Her: Simple, go pick up my delivery.

 

You: What?!?!? I'm no delivery boy.

 

Her: Its been robbed.

 

You: Thats more like it. I accept.

 

[/cutscene]

 

Her: Good well takes these

 

*hands over a pair of Gnome Goggles (n)*

 

You: Goggles? Why do I need those.

 

Her: Well I've arranged a powercut there, these have been adapted by powerful Magi, they allow you to see in the dark.

 

You: Powercut?

 

Her: *Sigh* We have eternal lights burning thanks to powerful Magi, some ancestors of theirs, equally powerful Magi will kill theirs.

 

You: So I can't kill stuff?

 

Her: No, this is a stealth mission Sa... erm I mean [character name]

 

You: Aww I like killing though.

 

Her: Tough, anyway do this and you shall be rewarded.

 

 

 

The Actual doing part

 

The base has been located in Draynor Mainson, now first you must visit the Head Wizard at Wizard's Tower. HE cuts the power, their security cams and light goes off. Your objective is to get to the sub-basement (below the basement). Getting too near a rogue and you will be ejected, don't worry theres not alot of them. Anyway at the bottom there will be a cutscene.

 

[Cutscene]

 

Rogue Leader: Hmmph, you morons jacked the wrong cart. You were supposed to jack the BANK CART!

 

Rogues in Unison: Sorry Boss.

 

Rogue leader: So what will we do with these?

 

Kyle [a rogue]: Go Trick or Treating.

 

Rogue Leader: What are you? 12 or something?

 

Kyle: Erm well Yes.

 

*You step in*

 

You: I believe I shall be taking those.

 

Rogue Leader: And why is that?

 

You: Erm... [insert characters name] AWAY!

 

*You run off with box through the floors and jump out a window*

 

Rogue Leader:*Shouts* Moron, there is a thing such as a door. You'll pay for that window!

 

You: Erm yes well .. Bye!

 

*you run to Varrock*

 

Clothes Shop Owner: Oh thank you [insert Char name].

 

You: So whats the reward?

 

Clothes Shop owner: Oh that, the costumes and this Bag I suppose.

 

You: What? No money?

 

CLothes shop owner: Well no, you get candy aswell, since its Halloween.

 

You: I suppose it'll do.

 

Clothes Shop Owner: Oh and I'll have a word with my friend, Diango, who will replace any costume if you lose it.

 

You: Thanks.

 

[/cutscene]

 

 

 

Rewards

 

All Costumes come with Cape, Body, Legs, Boots, Amulet, Ring and Weapon except the Jack o Latern Bag, you have to wear it with costumes if you want to Trick or Treat.

 

Jack o Lantern bag. Equipped in Shield Spot, used when Trick or Treating.

 

Witches Costume. Comes with Broom, full set worn enables emote

 

Demon Suit. Comes with Devil's Pitchfork, full set worn enables emote.

 

Headless Horseman Suit. You ride a horse, (deco only, no advantages) and head disappears.

 

Unicorn Suit. Just a suit which makes you look like a unicorn.

 

Executioner Suit, comes with Executioner's Axe, Full set enables emote.

 

Tz-TokJad Suit(M), Makes you into a mini Tz-TokJad.

 

God Suit, Turns you into 1 of 3 main gods, Comes with ring which allows transformation, full set (including ring) enables emote.

 

Nercomancer Robes(M). Comes with a Necromancy Staff, full Set enables emote.

 

 

 

Emotes.

 

THey are all found under 1 emote panel (as you need to wear full set anyway to use it)

 

Witch, You mound broom, hover, shoot up into the air and Dive down, does not move you.

 

Demon Suit A ring of flames Surronds you, engulfs you, you turn to smoke and appear back in a random spot in a 3x3 square around you.

 

Executioner. A chopping block appears, you victim is one it you take a swing with axe and head rolls off victim, non bloody.

 

God Suit. Saradomin, A light surronds you and gives you a Halo with remains for five minutes. Guthix, Flowers appear, A deer comes running and you ride it for five minutes (no advantage over walking). Zamorak A wall of flames appears and lost souls shoot out of it.

 

Nercomancer. You summon a Skeleton/Zombie/Ghost (random which one), Which walks around for 10 secs and disappears.

 

 

 

Trick or Treating

 

Can only be done when Jack o Latern bag is weilded.

 

All the kids of Geilinor(sp?) are running around in towns, time to give them a good ol' spook. In return you get candy (is put into bag, non tradeable, melts after event)[/hide]

Theme-The Halloween Ghoulympics

 

 

 

Once a year, for 2 weeks, the ghouls come together to celebrate their misery through the Halloween Ghoulympics. This year due to a temporary dimension lapse in the draynor pig pen, not only have the pigs got in, but so have the humans. you must take part in 4 events;

 

 

 

The Headless Shot Putt

 

The 100m Spirint

 

Pumpkin Dodgeball

 

and..

 

Ghouley Pigeon Shooting

 

 

 

Headless Shot Putt-you have a head of a ghoul, similar to the zombie head, there are 2 meters in the box where your stats and items usually are, one for height, one for distance, this is similar to many internet games, with the 2 meters moving and you must click each one to stop it, a throw of over 20 metres wins the reward

 

 

 

Reward-Ghoul Head, can be used as a fun range weapon similar to the rubber chicken, allows for the new emote, Shotputt Throw, in which when wielding the head you throw it into the air then it lands on your head and you try to get it off in humerous ways.

 

 

 

The 100m Spirint-Quick time style events, your character automatically runs, but the ghosts keep cheating, along the track are certain items, if you pick them up you may just be able to use them to your advantage

 

 

 

Reward-Ghostly Running Shoes, allow you to hover for a few seconds, this uses run energy at 5% a second, you cannot walk while hovering, it has no use other than asthetics. also a new emote, The Scooby Doo emote, your characters legs run around in circles like in the Scooby Doo cartoons, if you click a few squares away at the end of the emote you will be given a slight boost when running, but the emote must finish before the boost is given, so no advantages are given

 

 

 

Pumpking Dodgeball-Similar to gnomeball, you have a team of 5 people, including you, the aim is to get all of them hit, to do this you must pass around your pumpking dodgeball whilst dodging the other teams, to dodge you simply click the button which appears in the bottom right corner when a ball is heading towards you

 

 

 

Reward-pumpkin dodgeball, gives the new emote, pumpkin prat, which sees the player produce his pumpkin dodgeball proudly then start fumbling and drop it on the floor only to drop it and have birds appear around his head

 

 

 

Ghouley Pigeon ShootingÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ similar to the shooting range in the range guild, only with moving targets, to must click the target at the right time, a small meter appears at the bottom when itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s green click on the pigeon. Hit 10 pigeons to win the reward

 

 

 

RewardÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ Spooky bow , a fun weapon, when fired the arrows will pass through the target, you can fire at anyone anytime no damage is issued, you have unlimited arrows, also a new emote, ghost suicide, your character does an emote similar to the cry emote, pulls out the bow and shoots themselves in the head, only for the arrow to pass through[/hide]

"Oh no! This is terrable!"

 

you say: "What is the matter?"

 

Diango: "My holloween costumes never got delivered! Without them the children wont be able to get costumes!"

 

You: "Mabye I could help?"

 

Diango: That would be great! I think the costumes were taken by a ghost in Draynor Mansion."

 

You: "Wait a minute, does this have an award?"

 

Diango: "Sure does! il let you have one of the costumes!"

 

You: "Ok, that would be great!"

 

You go to Draynor Mansion, and there are a bunch of ghosts, you will need your ghostspeak amulet, and you talk to one of them.

 

You: I heard from Diango that a ghost from Draynor Mansion stole his costumes."

 

Ghost: "Yes, the boss ghost in the basement took them, but you wouldn't want to mess with him."

 

You: "Ya right, your just trying to stop me from getting the costumes."

 

Ghost: "Don't say i didn't warn you!"

 

So you go to the basement and do the maze like in Ernest the chicken quest, and you meet the boss ghost

 

Boss Ghost: "What are you doing here, human?"

 

You: "I'm here to get the costumes you stole"

 

Boss Ghost: "hmmm... i will if you get my corpse that diango stole from my coffin!"

 

you: "Ok"

 

so you ask diango for the corpse, he says yes, and you give the corpse to the Boss Ghost.

 

Boss Ghost "Thank you, you may have the costumes now."

 

Diango will let you choose from a guthix, zamorak, or saradomin costume, each one has an emote, guthix, flowers will grow around you, zamorak, flames will spurt at your feet, saradomin, light will shine around you[/hide]

I hope those are choices, because you've got about 9 years worth of Halloween costumes and emotes there.

 

 

 

I like the headless horseman (only because of the horse), the god suit, and the tz-tok-jad, and the necromancer.

 

 

 

I don't think that the executioner emote fits with the rest of the game (maiming), and would probably be better replaced with a watermelon.

Too many costumes. Cut it down to 1, maybe 2. Also, I don't know that it would take very long to do this mission. Maybe add some more length to it. Maybe make the sub-basement a maze as well.
