Good old Pokemon Red.

Amen to that. General rule of thumb, the first one's almost always going to beat the sequels.

The first time going through the eight gym leaders, the elite four, and the legendaries, it was new, cool, just flat out awesome. But the other games just did that over and over and over... it was the basically the same story every time, with different characters. Dunno how they've lasted this long.

[if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

it's more addictive than runescape

Blue. I don't know why, but it was actually my favorite of the first ones.

A cartoon and trading cards series, I'm guessing. :P

I have to say yellow, red, and blue. They are classics. And after creaming the hell out of Pearl, it's safe to say I will not play the next sequal. My reasons being because the legendaries over and over! Sure, I caught Palkia, hurray, I get a cookie, yay, I become league champ...Damn, it just doesn't seem right. The other reason I'm dissapointed with Pearl is the storyline.

[hide=My Point of view of Pearl! Spoiler Warning!]Really, the storyline didn't appeal to me as it did the others. It felt like the game was totally jumbled, as you battle galactic, you uncover their intensions, like the others. But what's dissapointing about that is galactic is like a knock off of team rocket. One team out to rule the world. Wow. I actually liked the apposing teams of aqua and magma. And Dialga and Palkia didn't fight, as a matter of fact, Palkia/Dialga are the "creators" of everything (Despite the fact Arceus is) depending on your version. Gimme a break, it doesn't link to previous games (although I'm not sure) because Groudon and kyogre created land and sea (Or was it just Hoenn?). And common, your friend is like gary from the past games!

Jesus, I'm confused. Christ, it's like playing the same game over and over with different characters within it...And you have the same goals. Jesus Christ...It's like the Olsen Twins' movies'![/hide]

So if you took the time to read what I had to say, those are my reasons for not liking Pearl/Diamond. I'd play yellow, blue, or red any day of the week though. :)

So my vote goes to those three.

Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D

In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)

Red, blue, yellow. First ones owned.

Now some one else say red, blue, yellow so it isn't a decimal. <.<

Quit RuneScape :)

Red, Blue, Yellow ::' It takes a lot for a sequel to beat a prequel.

Red, Blue, Yellow and Green.

I think America missed out on one and got Green instead, we didn't get Green. MAybe Green was Japan only, I forget.

Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198

The original red blue and yellow were the only good ones. All the rest were basically the same concept but were renamed with new pokemon.

Actually, they were sent over here, but the first day they were recalled, due to "Not being like an original pokemon game" (I got a copy from wal mart before recalled \' ). However, they had every right to. It was...Strange and terrible. For example, in green, you start out playing ball with a friend...Suddenly, you get hit by a ball and get mad. Then the ball releases a pokemon. Then, throughout the game, you use a cell phone to call them. I was a tad bit confused there. I actually still have it, but it's terrible... :wall:
