Killy_the_Kid Posted June 20, 2007 Share Posted June 20, 2007 While browsing the RS forums, I found a thread that struck me as intriguing and interesting. It's two new possible systems. #1 is what's called a "player examine," which would be the ability to set an examine to yourself, that other people could examine you and read. It could be an option in the options tab (along with the POH and others) and could be edited or deleted at any time. I know some problems may come with this, such as advertising, but that's what forums are for. #2 would be "set examine" to an NPC or object, which could be a switch in options that when off, would examine something normally, and when on, along with "examine", would be "edit examine" and "default examine" edit to make your own, and default to return it to its origonal. These two updates will help personalize RS gameplay, and should be available to F2P, who can't personalize RS at all. Members get POH's, so yeah. Such as for a pyro in real life when examining a fire, would say "A beautiful dancing ember" or a vegetarian when examining a kebab, would say "Cooked camel flesh cut out of a slaughtered, defenseless, camel." Zezima is male for goodness sakes! Many players have suggested this, and they exist in TIF. There is really no need to have this, as players can just go to those threads. This can probably be locked. There really isn't a point, and it would just take up space on the right-click menu, and also in the game code. It really isn't a necessary feature of the game.
