Just, also, wondering if you guys have actually seen this on the news? I got it from the TEN Late News (In Australia) at 10:40 (Adelaide Time, I forget what the standard is) Monday.

Nah, didn't catch that. But there will probably be a story on Today Tonight or the Catch-Up about it. Oh wait, the Catch-Up has been cut...NOOO! :)

Ooh, I haven't seen it yet. If it was on monday I probably missed it. When you say 'local' do you mean Aussie federal police caught pedo's in 35 countries? If so that would be quite an accomplishment. Either way, to elaborate on my previous post, the less pedophiles in the world, the better. I doubt we'll ever fully eradicte the problem, though; they say that pedophelia is unrehabilitatable (I'll see if I can dig up some sources later on).

Yeah, I heard it on the news yesterday evening. Tuesday 18:00 GMT.

This sort of news is a headline in Belgium, we're a very sensitive nation when it comes to paedophilia. The Dutroux case is still a national trauma, even after more than 10 years.

Do you watch the NRL footy show on channel 9? If so, how funny was Matty Johns' reaction to the catch-up being cut. :P

By 'local' I mean the local Police Force in your country. It's 700 people around 35 countries, meaning that they've only caught approx. 20+/- people in each country, although that's like, 20/100+ people per country, it's a great find. They found it by hacking into a website. They hacked the owners account and destroyed the account, tracked the the IP's (Or whatever)

Ah, ok. That's still thoroughly awesome. They need more policing through media such as the internet.

Yes. It's decent, and I completely agree, they need real computer geeks on the internet patrolling suspicious sites more often.. :-w

Edit: Sorry for double posting, with all the post's in short amounts of times, I was mixed up and storf. :XD:

Pedophile: AKA child predator, by predator i mean (s)he tries to get someone below 16(usually) to have intercourse with them.

Hope that clears it up for you. :ohnoes:

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

Madeline McCann backlash I bet...
Yeh possibly but it seems a pretty big operation and it may of been planned before she went missing.

The way I see it this can only be a good thing. The more of these animals that are put away the better - less children at risk.

According to all the news reports I've seen/read it was a long term cross border operation to hunt these guys down so it's highly unlikely.

In my eyes she's overhyped. Every day young children in poorer countries get abused, kidnapped, tortured and so on, but we close our eyes until one of "us" gets kidnapped. Probably everyone in Europe has seen her pics and heard the name, but when did you last time hear of that poor black kid smuggled from Africa or of the 120cm tall asian child?

Anyways in my eyes pedos are the lowest cast of all. This was a good start, but not enough yet.

She is overhyped. Immensley. The whole nation coming together to start a charity just because one girl went missing when there's so much more suffering out there is outrageous.

Donations of ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã721,748.84 have been received to the fund to date.

̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã721k because someone went missing. Where's that money going to go? Who knows - but it'd certainly do a better job going somewhere more worthy like cancer research, oxfam, etc. So many people go missing a day, why is this any different? I can see why the parents are upset but y'know...
