Very Helpful for my brother who was thinking about killing them but was wondering what stats and equipment he would need.

You might want to note for the Veracs setup that a warrior ring has no effect since the flail uses either crush or stab, so if you're going to use a DK ring, berserker is the only one with a useful bonus.

A neitiznot helmet is so much better for ranging there. No negative range bonus and a mage def bonus (though small).

I would like to now note that using any barrows set or any method that doesn't require an Anti-fire shield or Dragonfire shield is completely absurd and should not be done unless you wish to die, using the protect from mage prayer and anti fire potions does not work anymore, so don't try it, unless you want to die.

A god mitre is even better. No negative Range bonus, +4 Mage def, and +5 Prayer :).

Like it says in my guide...mix and match around with stuff...you don't have to use what i do :) Use what you have and better suits you.

im using same equip as you but lava cape ,ranger boots and zammy mitre

 

im 95 range,66pray,99hp,86def

 

in inv i have 5sup restore(4),antifire(4),sup def(4),range(4),game neckless,varrock tele tab,and sharks.

 

im using dimond bolts(e),protect from range and +15% range prayers.

 

and i get 2-3 miths per 1does of antifire pot. i kill 8-10 per trip.

 

now, tell me how you get 10-14 ,are you doing enything difrently then i am?

Well, I would like to note that I am 99 defence which means i will get hit less, i am also 86 prayer so i can have another shark in inventory, and i still hit 30-35 fairy often with diamond(e) bolts. I always do the 10% range boost, seems to work better to hit for me. I also stand next to it and pray Protect from Melee.

Went for a couple of short trips today using the cheapskate melee outfit. Am level 95 combat, 78hp and melee stats 77/78 all.

 

 

 

Can kill exactly 2 dragons per trip, then running out of sharks and close to running out on potions too.

 

 

 

Each trip costs me half a super set, 4 prayer potions, around 20 sharks. Drops: coins and blood runes.

 

 

 

And this does not count the risk of dying and accounting for average potential for death per trip multiplied by the value of my equipment I'll lose if I die.

 

 

 

I think I'll pass going there. Quicker to make money some other way and buy the drops for me. Sure, yea, I could hit the jackpot with dragon visage or full, but I think I have better chances playing lottery.

Yeah, and get pwned by dragonfire.

Veracs still works -- if you do it right and are prepared to deal with the damage. It costs less than ranging but is a bit slower including trips to restock.

 

 

 

The best method I have found so far is a range/melee hybrid.

works pretty well, exept wen d fire happens it hits like 35 coz mage port wont stop the d fire with miths >.< appart from that, verac kills them pretty fast

The dragon fire breath hits up in the 30's if you don't have the shield, but drink an anti fire potion. YOu can no longer drink an anti fire potion and pray "protect from mage" and not get hit by fire breath, so that is why veracs is just considered a deathwish now...lag for a second or type something and within that short amount of time you could be dead.

I used to Verac them, but after getting redbarred, I decided it was too risky. But you should note, it is VERY doable, and the hits from Verac are pretty good. Now im ranging with dimond bolts(e) which work well.

 

 

 

Btw, if your going to mage, I suggest brigning like a karils body. Your mage def goes up, and ur bones is still very high. Oh btw, Slayer dart is pretty effective...vrey cheap. Its slower then fire wave, but cheaper.

 

 

 

Also, Im going to go try flames of zammy. My friends say its very effective, but idk
