Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix: The Video Game

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Im getting order of the phoenix today for xbox 360!! \' \' \' \' \'

If you have it, could you please tell me what your thoughts are on it please? And also what sort of things you do on it aswell please.

Thanks! ::'

I've heard the game has very little action...basically, you walk around Hogwarts and use your wand to complete menial tasks like picking up a book or a pile of leafs (with your wand), but other than that, you have to wait 'til the very end of the game to fight anything...

Sounds kinda' boring. Might be fun for Wii to use your Wiimote for the wand thing but other than that...

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

- Me!

I bought Harry Potter 3 game a long time ago, and it's like tigra says. You walk around in hogwarts, doing things with your wand :uhh: and well it's basically a puzzle game with a little fighting, and there's a boss at the end of each puzzle(atleast it was like was in HP3) but I read you spend the whole game doing shores for people. Torture much?

Gamespot rates Harry Potter 5 as 5/10 for xbow 360, while the Harry Potter 3 I played was 7/10.

I were you I wouldn't buy it, 5/10, that's really bad.

Rent it?

I thought it was a gamer rule never to buy games made from movies, its a rule I always abide by and it serves me well.

The only game based off of a movie that was DECENT was Spider-man 2. That game wasn't bad :P. Harry Potter games just look HORRIBLE

Well it might be like a novelty for Wii :P . But, it sounds cool that the entire Hogwarts is all there and you can explore it all with no loading time.

God all you sound like a guy I know.

Anyway its a decent game, fighting bits are quite good, mostly based on puzzles.

A bit too easy but wizard chess can provide a challenge.

Get it if you want it.

Yea, it is a gamer rule never to buy a licensed game (that is, based on a movie or book). I believe only the spiderman, king kong, and marvel alliance games are any good.

But if you have cash to burn, go for it i suppose.

Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

I've owned and played Chamber of Secrets and Sorceror's Stone (I was a kid, sorry )..I hated them. CoS was decent enough to beat if you're patient..but..I'd rent if I were you.

The only good moviegame I've played is King Kong..it was worth it. Except for the last "rampage" through NY..man, it felt like I was walking through a crowded hallway full of angry kids. :-k
