Well after BRUTALLY killing all of the knights, with the help of a restore pot :, I managed to be able to test Chivalry. Now with NO PRAYER BONUS.

With NO PRAYER BONUS, and 63 prayer, the Atk-Str-Def 15% prays lasted a measly 32 seconds, timed accurately on a stop-watch.

With NO PRAYER BONUS, and 63 prayer, the Chivalry prayer, 20% Def 18% Str and 15% Atk, lasted 40 seconds, timed accurately on a stop-watch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

~Piety~

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tested again without any pray bonus at all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

71 seconds with the original boost prayers

 

 

 

107 seconds with piety.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When multiplying 71 by 1.5 we get 106.5

well, i know i sure as hell hit harder more frequently with the normal prayers with a dragon mace, then i do now with a dragon mace, its like... the prayer nerfed the mace.

however, the def part of the prayer... definately has shown to be a big help.

Ok I used my system clock to test this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

no prayer bonus, Piety lasted just under 2 mins for me, I have 76 prayer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No prayer bonus, the 15% atk str and def prayers lasted just over 1:05 for me, 76 prayer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Piety drains half as fast as all 3 15% prayers, so it is indeed worth it.

Took 2 minutes 10 for the level 70 prayer to drain

 

 

 

Took 1 minute 30 for the 3 15% prayers to drain.

For this to work properly you need someone who is 70prayer exactly, like me. Except I'm f2p, I did the normal prayers(at their best) and on average was for me: 91seconds, which is one minute and 31seconds

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Variables: No prayer bonus, no armour on at all, 70/70 prayer, put on all three in under 2seconds.

And the way to do it even more accurately...wait till your prayer ticks down from say 58 to 57.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And in that instant that it becomes 57 make sure you hit the altar.

I don't think it nerfed the mace, i hit pretty good with it on the KQ and piety. I had 3 specials of 43, 38, 36 in a row.

Your prayer level does not affect your prayer drain rate. Only your prayer bonus. If someone can prove me wrong I will commit myself to a lifetime of exile in the KQ lair. :boohoo:

Yes, but it is based around the same ratio.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you had +10 Prayer bonus for both tests it would last longer for sure, but it would be pointless to test it at +10 because it will be proportional to 0 Prayer Bonus.
