I have seen some topics of people "translating" whose first languaje was not spanish, and they always have little mistakens here and there. Not that serious, I think it's correct, because spanish speakers use the verb "amar" (to love) very much, for example: "Thanks for sharing your icecream with me, I love you." "Gracias por compartir tu helado conmigo, te amo." "Te quiero" would be "I like you" but surely a bad traductor will say something like "I want you".
