August 7, 200718 yr Author You guys aren't understanding this thread it's not about whether or not I deserve to be muted, so everyone arguing about whether or not I'm lying or w/e else just don't post. This thread is about whether or not you think muted people should be able to use clan chat, which obviously nobody does, and whether you think Jagex might be a little harsh in their punishments.
August 7, 200718 yr this is really broken up into 2 parts, I (as a perm mute) think if your perm muted you shouldnt be able to use clan chat. however I believe that spamming your clans name in a clan event should only get you a warning seeing as how we all lose our heads at an event some time or another.

I think mutes should be able to talk in clan chat, considering they'd only be heard by people who choose to hear them. :P Agreed. I am surprised by alot of the feedback this post is getting. Lot of goodie two shoes on this forum I guess... When survival is in question, anything goes.

August 9, 200718 yr Although I do agree with the fact that perm mutes should not be able to use clan chat, I am totally against the idea of a perm mute. I think a perm mute should be replaced by a 'year mute' This is still a very long time, but it doesn't make the account totally useless forever. I think the perm mute is worse than a ban, because its like you are being teased and tormented by Jagex.
August 9, 200718 yr there are 2 issues in this, in my opinion; whether or not you should have been muted and whether or not clan and other chats should be seperated. I don't think you should have been muted--but then, all i know of this is your side, and that's likely biased, so i can't make a good decision. Personally, i think it would just be stupid if jagex seperated clan chat from the other kinds of chat; if your perm muted, you have no right to talk on this game, at all. That's the whole point of the punishment. August 9, 200718 yr heres what i don't get, you were reported for spamming at a clan event, my clan spams, i know other clans that use tip.it tthat spam, so firstly you were unfairly muted now they keep punishing you muted people. i bet if jagex unmuted perm muted people, they'd be really polite because they learnt theyre lesson (im not saying the scamrers r gunna be nice) P.S im not muted
August 9, 200718 yr my main was muted and my friend alwasy puts private chat on friends and he has no clue about minirouge13 so i cant talk to him anymore... :cry: plus im sick of people asking me stuff not knowing i cant answer i mean clan chat at the very least..... even nto that at least private chat...
