August 24, 200718 yr it would definately be hidden but in some tv shows they have heavy advertisements like kyle xy and sourpatch kids i hope they dont do that... but it would be ok like the can of clorox on the table in tv shows where you see the logo or w/e.

August 25, 200718 yr I could see somthing like cows in the game saying "eat more chicken" or a quest about cavemen being mad at people for saying "it's so easy a caveman can do it!". This would bring a lot of money to Jagex but I think it would spoil the game too much to be worth it. It's about the type of game it is. A game that takes place in a modern city could blend in advertisments into the game easily, but Runescape takes place in a fantasy world. Bringing advertisements in from the real world would ruin the fantasy in the game.
August 25, 200718 yr If they did do this (and it's a great idea) they should knock at least 50 US cents a month off of membership. This would be a great revenue maker and fan sites could advertise! Oh and besides, what can they advertise without making the product look extremely lame and not connected to the game? Coal and Lobsters :P Red Lobster? Captain D's Buttered Lobster Bits? Long John Silver's? PKing in F2P never tasted so good! If you believe you came from monkeys, you probably did.
