Pixel-hogging - what exactly is it?

IMO no what he was doing wasn't pixelhogging, tbh the only people that are pixelhoggers are people that call you one yourself and do whatever they can to keep their items themselves

ex.

f2p pking world 8

i meet a melee pure with monk robes on and we fight...i end up losing this fight and as i usually do for everyfight other than dm's i ran...

shortly after we meet up in wild and i attack him, he runs out of wild and says i dont fight runners, and i asked why...he simply replied dont pixelhog

i said w\e and agreed to a dm which i won quickly and didnt realise why but when he died i saw that he protected his scimmy...

dont understand that, some people do what they can to get 'pixels' and do their best to 'insult' others for doing the exact same thing...

haha, so in final neither of them was the pixel hogger though it woulda been nice of that guy to give back the stuff

Today at Warriors Guild, while I was trying to get tokens for a Rune Defender, another player lagged out and lost connection. On the floor next to me was the Rune Armour that the player had been using to get his tokens. I picked it up, and went on about my training. A few minutes later, the person logs back in and asked who got their stuff. I talked to him and found out it was a lost connection and gave it back.

No pixel hogging there. I don't think the other person was pixel hogging because he wanted his stuff back, either. I just think that it's the nice thing to do.

Wow, you people complain about taking all the risk out of the game and look what your doing. Your catering to people who don't take any cause they know their gonna get their stuff back.

If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

^^^At least I'm not the only crazy one

This is a nonsense position used only to justify greed. Even if there is risk, that doesn't preclude someone from doing something nice for another person.

id return a death pile if i had been talking to the person, unless he had been an [wagon] to me, then id keep the death pile

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

definitely his fault, so what if he lagged, you put prayer on before you click on the tomb, he can't have been lagging badly enough to have been able to click the tomb but not prayer. And anyway no matter how they died it's still their fault (unless they get lured, but then I guess its still their fault for not knowing it was a lure).
