He's kidding right? A Geo Tracker? :uhh: I could understand if he's going to strip it down and turn it into a moon buggy to some degree, but still a pretty "wtf" choice of vehicle to waste a Chevy on since there are a lot better choices.

 

His first choice was a Chevy S-10, but we came across this one for $800 and couldn't resist. He just wanted something simple, that wouldn't take a lot of money.

 

The plan is to chop the top 2-4 inches, lower the car 2-4 inches, and put a small block Chevy in it. Should be one of those "near normal" looking cars... until it takes off like the cops were after ya.

I'm not really into cars.. but they are pretty nice.

Bubsa, get a real car :P And by real I don't mean a muscle car, but if you're going to have one with 4x4 capabilities, make sure it's actually good at that ability ;)

 

Give me the money to buy a new one and then insure it and I'd be happy to! ;)

And oh yea, it's not much of a muscle car but I wanted to post it, we have this too :)

i have an 1984 s10 stand. cab. long bed...plan on putting a 283, 305, or 350 sbc in it eventually.

 

 

 

me and my dad share a 1978 k20 custom deluxe pickup with about 350-400 horse its nice...little shorbed guy. he's also got a monte carlo with about 400 horse.

I don't have a licence and probably never will have one. (I'm 25) I don't think those cars are gay though. A little inpractical for day to day use though. At least if you live in a city with small streets and high traffic (like every random European capital).

 

 

 

If i were to choose a car, i'd want something that looks a bit worn, a bit sporty with racing stripes and is robust and comfortable. It would need to have personality. Would be sufficient if it had more power then a sewing machine or a lawn mower.

It all depends on the kind of race ;) A v8 would destroy a v4 in a drag race (as long as the driver of the v8 at least knows how to shift). But a street race.. That v4 might stand a chance if the driver is good. Corners are a [bleep] at high speeds..

well 2 days ago i went to The Woodward Dream Cruise. most of you probably haven't heard of it but its a cruise that goes for abou 7-9 miles i think...millions of millions of people there....its like a huge classic car cruise it was sweet.

tbh there wasnt too many ricers there....there was some ricers in front of me a few times...but all i had to do is put it in neutral and show them how much better AMERICAN sounds than jap crap.

LOL idc if my v8 took 5 minutes to get up to 60 mph...as long as it SOUNDS good...like an american car should....thats cool. i'd much rather have a slow car that sounds good than have a fast car that sounds like its on the toilet with the hershey squirts.

I have a 1967 Mercury Cougar in my garage, we also used to have a 1968 Cougar, but sold it. We had a '65 Mustang a few years back, but we gave it to some guy who thought it would be a great idea to crush it just for fun...[wagon]-hat. My parents also used to own a '70 Plymouth 'Cuda, but sold it so they could move here when I was born...Worst. Choice. Ever.
