no_way2go
1. It was before Jagex advertised on Miniclip, the community was alot more mature. 2. It was alot more difficult, people with high levels put hundreds of times more effort into the skills then people do in RS2. You couldnt just run from every fight either how was it more difficult? yah, i woulda liked a more mature community, with out all the spammers and scammer  Nothing was as fast. If you got into a fight, you where there for 3 rounds out combat till you could walk away, no running. At the end of RSC days there was the fatigued system which was a pain. It was harder to keep track of what was goining on because of the way the menus and stuff where set out. 1 speed for every fight, scimmys were the same speed as 2-handers. The list goes on.... - certs: there weren't notes so if you wanted to sell 1k coal you would have to make 40 trips to giles and niles in draynor to get them all 'certed' so you could sell them in one trade - much harder to level (no items like fury, whip, barrows, also no guilded altar, pest control...) - No "Make X" - no in-game quest guide, you had to remember and figure it all out yourself - more mature community because of the higher difficulty and bad graphics :uhh: Here is a worldmap of RSC: [hide][/hide] - Back to casual f2p scaping due to limited time (university and girlfriend ) -

hellbellz
I still play rsc and it's hugely overrated. Yes it's harder but rs2 is funner in just about every other way. Compared to rs2, rsc feels like an incomplete prototype. That's exactly how I feel about it. I only think people only play it remember "how great it was" which it's not all that good, in my opinion. Over the years, you think it was better, and everytime you say it is better than RS2, you exaggarate it a little bit.
Made0f12une
I'd Rather Play 1997 Doom over 200X Doom 3 anyday Just like if the community was bigger, more servers, and everything wasn't so dang exspensive, I'd still play RSC aswell ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m
killmenub
As people said the community was better and: - Things took longer so was more rewarding. - There wasn't updates every week but every 1-2 months which means they were more thought out/planned, and was hardly any problems with them. - PVP took skilled, instead of the little skill pvp takes now. Overall, if they kept the RSC basic's RS2 would be much better now, but meh. :-w IGN: HesFearless. -Jamie
Lord_Omar_Iv
the reason why anyone who is an rs2 product would never like rsc is because you have been spoiled by jagex
Evil_Ruler7
rsc stinks. All it has is a bunch of whiney "veterans" who think theyre so great cause it took more clicks for a lvl. Oh and the maturity level on rs2? these rsc "veterans" are about the same, they never shut up :-w

meili
It was smaller, that's all. I mean I used to see the same people all the time. When I pked someone the next day it would be "oh yeah Meili, I'd sell you the runes cheap but you pked me!" Things that you did had an effect on the game. Nowadays you are one tiny grain of sand in the beach. No one notices you at all. The Runescape Wilderness - Meili's Blog
