Cyanide Jazzmaster Custom [3D]

Featured Replies

This was modeled some time ago, and left unfinished due to other online stuff. Got around to finishing it up this week, with a new hdri solution (faster render times for me) and I also added in a pedal I never posted too. Strap ends are missing at the moment, but will be included in the portfolio sized render, I just wanted to get this out because I havent posted anything in so long.

awesome i think you really improved

anyway to c/c the wires are to short, dont expect the foot pedal to reach the ground like that... i always use long wires there better.. you can walk more

and the Jazz Master text.. looks a bit to much like a fake 2D add on.

i dont like the green color on the guitar tho doesnt remind me of Jazz at all.

great job nonetheless

Other views? I don't know that much about guitars themselves, but the render looks wierd above the neck? or whatever it's called.... Other views would help I'm sure... Looks nice though.

Eh, it's called a Jazzmaster, doesnt mean it's for Jazz. I know the wires are short, but I couldn't be doing lengths and lengths of it just for a render. Green = Cyanide, that's the whole point ;) It's a kinda metal guitar. I'll post some wires later.

I love that, awesome render m8, great job on it. You did the shape of the body, and everything to just about perfect, neck and head stock looks awesome. Thickness is good to not to thick or thing perfect for a metal type guitar.

Ha! You can't fool me! You took a photo of a guitar....and you lack photographic skills.

j/k. damn. I don't know about anyone else (okay only keiphus and queer skull and teenage loser) but that looks perfect and amazing. Obviously i'm don't have that art critic eye.... :(

I'm going to kill you...

Yeah looks nice, not sure about it being yellow..

Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(

Nice to more of your work entangle i have that exact pedal it all looks really realistic!

lol i was thinking about saying something lke that, but anyways good job with guitar

it looks pretty sweet.... just don't like the name of guitar... it is probably a real name... but that company should change it to something cool.. like..... Surpass or...... Combustible Licks.... something gnarly 8)

Hah. I made you post something. ;)

The model looks pretty good, but to me it seems like the edges were a bit too sharp.

The grid texture on the ground eats some realism. There's hardly no reflection on the body. There's some weird mess near the edges, most visible in upper-right corner.

The metal looks like there's a reflection map in it. The fret board looks dry (Don't know if it's meant to). And again there's no inlays!-)

Sorry about the list and about judging only the render.

EDIT: I just read that it's not the even the final render. :P

Thanks for the reply Iw. What mess are you reffering to? I can't see it. Can you point it out with a ring around or something? I never actually go for photorealism, I just show it off as best as I can (I cannot sit around and wait for photoreal render times) The metal is all brushed, and well, reflection maps are cheap (no, I don't use them) Body is basically flat on top, so no real reflection comes of it, the paint is kinda hard to describe. No inlays, just how I like it.

what Iw said.....not sure what he meant by a few things. but overall great job. and that's a sweet guitar. the foot pedal is near PERFECT. i woulda thought it was a real picture.....great job. model some simple small picks and put em on the ground next to the geetar. maybe thrown in a small amp next to it.

Is the fretboard scalloped? Looks like the frets dip a little. If so, nice choice.

Dreaming of that face again

It's bright, and blue, and shimmering

Grinning wide

And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes

If you look closely just above the headstock, you can see a tiny bit of them.
