Actually, I have to disagree... there IS a lot of safe spots to pick from... the only catch is that you must melee long enough to make the monsters go non-aggressive. Feel free to join me the next time I am able to go there. (This will be after my main has full mime and all mime emotes!) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
August 18, 200718 yr the stronbghold of security is great There's really not alot of good spots there. I swear the minotors on the first level are practically the best low level (10 - 60) range spot on f2p. There is a great little wall in the most south east part of the level where you can range minotors all day without getting hit and they also drop iron arrows regularly so you'll never run out of arrows. Other good drops include gold and uncut gems. give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
August 18, 200718 yr I find the best f2p ranged spot by far the levle 82 ankous in the level 4 security stronghold. There's a safespot behind a few bones and unlike moss giants or lesser demons, there is a large amount of ankous to kill with few competition. Also, nearly everything they drop is stackable so you can stay there and take drops into infinity. I myself trained there for probably 2m+ ranged exp. Maybe slightly less.
