October 1, 200718 yr Really good idea! I support!, i imagined some time ago about something like that, that can be great, you can learn some things from your friend then just observing him, o you can see how he solve some problems :) But i think it can lag player and player must be able to disable this like enable too :) Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
October 1, 200718 yr there is a way u can do it...if u no ur friend irl or chat on msn...u can use remote assistance in help and support so u can do that wauy if u want
October 1, 200718 yr The person being observed shouldn't be able to access his/her bank account during the time he/she is being observed. They have some writing (Bottom left of the screen in red) saying you are being observed by (Someone) one person can only view the person at one time, and to view the person they must go into safe mode, or be in their house. Another choice for them would be that the observer can put it in split screen. E.G. - [ | ] or the other way. with a tab over each of them with the name (Observee: Jack) (Observer: Ray Oxide) Good idea? I dont need a siggy no moar.
October 1, 200718 yr Wouldn't a player watching another player while that player watches the first player cause an infinite loop, reaching massive amounts of bandwidth and RAM usage?
October 1, 200718 yr Now I can spy on my friends all the time... Even in the Vsrrock changing rooms....
October 1, 200718 yr /\ || || || || || Don't mind the above post. Everyone would be trying to find Zezima, and eventually all the high lvl players would have swarms of people around them =/
October 1, 200718 yr For seconds, pkers could easily track people My thoughts exactly. Easier to ask \ Generally when i throw up i would rather not have it in my mouth :-X
December 22, 200817 yr horrible idea i mean just horrible [sorry!] i mean how many things are screwed with thsi?: bank pin bank inventory stats [all tabs really but alot dont matter too much] pkers and hackers will be overjoyed by the thought... pkers will be able to view anything they want about their prey including stats food equipment adn location... bad idea........................... [silence...] ---? was taht really me a couple years ago O_o? wow...
December 22, 200817 yr Why not have it better protected... You do this from the login screen. The person must be on your friends list before you log out. Click the button to do this. It will ask you to type your name and password (but not login) and it will then send a request to the person. If the person accepts (you must be on their friends list also) then you will be able to see what they are doing. This would be like normal gameplay, as the server is still only sending one client information to a computer, your friends. So your not logged in. Bank pin windows will be replaced with a little window that says "bank information being entered" or something along those lines. It would only be first person, and mouse clicks wouldnt be visible (you see them walk to a object but not the yellow/red X, not needed). Tab changes are seen, but private messages/clan chats are also hidden. This shouldnt be too hard to implement, but is more a dreamers idea. Most likely wont ever happen as there is no use for it. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th
December 22, 200817 yr maybe u and friend share "security orb" like in bank in draynor then u can just peer throught the orb and se?
December 23, 200817 yr Isn't there something in your house that lets you see teleport locations? That you can build in a teleport room.
December 23, 200817 yr Isn't there something in your house that lets you see teleport locations? That you can build in a teleport room. Yes. Unfortunately the author needs more stalkish ways to find his pray, and must watch them all the time, not just when they teleport. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th
December 23, 200817 yr This is total, utter garbage. Be original and think of something that isn't so lame and unecessary. Sorry for being blunt, but WOW. It's just awful. Boom! Dead Shot
December 24, 200817 yr Its bad when someone doesn't read the posts properly and replies very badly The person being viewed has the option of letting someone view or not and also when that person can view and can't The player can also see who is viewing them at any time It's even worse when someone makes no sense. Who would want someone spying on them? Or, since you know who's watching you, observing them? Maybe it could be like trading, you can accept the trade (in this case the invitation), or decline it. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
February 26, 200917 yr What if when you went to watch your friend they were cybering. :ohnoes: Can you spell a errrrr moment? (<-- Don't answer that.)
February 26, 200917 yr Not very useful in general, or worth spending time on. Though i agree it would be cool. O.O
February 26, 200917 yr It's quite a good idea, but there needs to be some some issues to be sorted out. 1)Private Chat is meant to be PRIVATE, so you should disable the ability to view they're private chat. 2)apparantly reading the stats of another player is an invasion of privacy (highscores must be banned if thats the case) So you could make it so the only thing you can see is the game window (the screen with the player in it) and nothing else. 3) bankpins could be discovered so you could make it so if your 5 squares away from a bank it automatically disables. I think it's a good idea, it could be like 'accept aid(s :P )' where it's optional. I would love to watch my friends taking the GodWars bosses on while i'm chilling out looking for something to do
