there is a sand pit or whatever in yanille behind the house portal, i guess you could use that to collect sand. As for the sea weed, hm.. Pretty sure there are many places, but i personly don't know

You can buy large amounts of buckets at a time in port phastymas(sp)?

lol.

i remember when i collected 1.4k seaweed from entrana back when it was the only place where seaweed was available in the game...

Burt is not a reliable way of getting sand. You only get 84 buckets of it, so it isn't very good...but if you do use it, switch on to lunars and use teletabs to get around from place to place, because its a hassle to tele to watchtower. Could always have house in yanille i guess.

Anyway, Best way to get sand is go to the official fletching world bank in yanille...i forget which world that's in...ask around for that somewhere. Could be 110? Anyway...a lot of people have sand there, and you can buy it off them for pretty cheap prices because they don't need it.

But good luck getting 300k, i'm not sure you'll have a fun time with it...

P.S. I am gonna ask (although you said don't) what you are using it for...well, regardless, it's bound to get you close or at 99 crafting :P

300K? Good luck, i'd order your straightjacket now whilst you're still sane.

Closest sandbox i know of is yanille. Best seaweed i know of is piscatoris - there may be better but that's the best i know of.

piscatoris is too slow for seaweed, each net only holds 1 seaweed with respawn time of about 8-10 seconds (seems unaffected by server population), the best place for seaweed would be shores near dks fairy ring downhill west.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

yeah, yannile has a close sandpit but i also like to use bert, 84 buckets of sand for talking to him. for seaweed either go to DKS with the fairy rings, spawn of 9 there i think, or buy from the charter ship people in catherby. i think thats the closest bank to a charter ship. buying the seaweed is cheap and takes way less time. you can also save the step of cooking the seaweed by buying soda ash instead of seaweed as often as you can. still get seaweed but get soda ash before. good luck on 99 crafting (that is what you need the 300k molten glass for right?)

Well thanks everyone, currently I'm collecting from Bert, and cleaning out the charter ships every time I walk by. I tried using Entrana for sand and Glorying back to Draynor and it worked not bad. I may have to try out the Fletching world if someone could tell me what it is, and the Fairy ring may be the best bet for lots of seaweed.

Thanks.

Ermm.. Isn't there a Lunar spell that fixes the need for sand? You might wanna check that out. Not sure about it, though. I know monalisks drop something that can be cooked into soda ash, but as for how many they drop at a time, if it's worth it, or if it's a 100% drop is beyond me.

The spell simply allows you to have, for example 10 buckets of sand and 10 seaweeds/soda ash (both of them work), and you get, for example, 12 molten glasses.

I plan on using that spell, but you still need the matierials, and the molanisks are too far from a bank for it to be worth it.
