Lose the mystic and your good.

I'd switch 10 sharks for monks, switch the armor to torags. Monks are cheaper, and torag has better def. Also, it's not really needed to bring mystic and d-hide, so just bring the d-hide.

 

 

 

bring a ddp, take 1 less ppot and replace it with a super attack. That way, you can melee karil. Pray the 15% and Range Prayer, you should have him over half dead when your specs are done.

I agree with Mchainmail. The mage bonus you have when using slayer dart barely effects the accuracy of the spell. It is a very reliable spell, which is why it is so popular. You may as well supe up your other bonuses, and leave the mystic in the bank. The cape, glory, and god book will be plenty. Good luck on your trips.

Well, here's my setup that works great.

 

 

 

Berserker+Farseer helm (If possible, switch Berserker for Neitiznot)

 

Glory

 

Torag's plate

 

Verac's skirt (just as good as Torag's legs but with prayer bonus)

 

God cape

 

Unholy book (Guthix works fine too)

 

Rune boots (Defence > Magic)

 

Ring of Life (Just in case)

 

Rune/adamant arrows

 

 

 

I bring a whip, DDP++, super attack, one prayer potion (in case of emergencies/Karil tunnel), runes, teletablets, d'hide top and chaps, and MSB. Rest is monkfish with a few sharks.

 

 

 

Note that I have 65 mage, 70 defence, 71 attack+strength, and 64 ranged. I can do Barrows without prayer potions and I can melee Karil with fairly decent ease. Of course, you're higher than me by far, so you'll be much better. :D And I easily mage them in my melee armor. Splashes are incredibly rare for me. :)

i try to max my prayer bonus when i do barrows. i bring prosolyte legs and plate, neitznot helm, prayer book, slayer staff, boots, gloves, 50 rune arrows and glory. in inv i bring home tele, slayer dart runes, spade, 4 p pots, 1 super atk and super atr, whip, dds, blk d hide top and legs, msb, and the rest monks. i use 2-4 doses of p pots per trip and dont usually take much damage. i dont feel it is necessary to take barrows or other expensive equipment there when cheap stuff works just as well.

idk if its just me but your arrows look like iron arrows on my screen, if they are, drop the irons and use rune, if not then addy.

i see you have house tele runes in inv. i'm guessing you house tele to restore prayer then kharyll portal. I'd recommend using house teletabs cos they'll save you an extra 2 inv spaces. either buy them from forums or find a friend with the lectern and ask if you can make them there.

50 then u can pray at altar and use kharyl tele (canfis)

This is a common misconception. With you being level 102 and only doing one run/trip (I'm assuming this), you can definitely use monks and still have room to have runes. Tabs are nice, but not needed if you don't need the space (If you do intend to be there for multiple runs, then by all means switch to tabs).

 

 

 

I'd make helm Neit for its prayer/str/def bonuses, and get a better cape (Trimmed skill, fire, mage, skill/obby, legends). Glory is fine. You can use MSB and rune, but I personally prefer crystal or karils xbow.

 

 

 

Replace mystic top with Torag, guthan, or veracs top. The bottom should be replaced by veracs skirt preferably or torag/guthan bottom. The boots are fine, but you could get dragon/rune. (NOTE: Your rune plate/dragon legs would work fine, too).

 

 

 

Ring of dueling is unnecessary. ROLife is a good option, or beacon ring. Either works.

 

 

 

Book is an option, some prefer Zammy, up to you though.

 

Gloves/staff are fine.

 

 

 

Karils would be better than d hide, it's your choice.

 

 

 

 

 

Lose one ppot and lose the ecto. House tele ->Altar ->Kharyll portal.

 

 

 

And get yourself a spade :wink:

Lose the ectophial, one ppot, and the mystic top and bottom. Equip the metal armor (maybe switch rune plate for barrows plate), and lose all the sharks. Fill the rest of your inventory with monkfish or cheesy potatoes from the warrior's guild.
