Lets set 1 thing straight Jagex CAN sue and even imprison anyone who sells gp and accounts and such.

But cutting the Script is not the solution they will just find more ways to make macros stonger.

Theres no solution in sight for macros but reporting them

There are solutions. Better detection, bigger team for getting rid of them, slow down the number of new accounts being made.

Like I said before, they CANNOT sue or imprison anyone without ample proof. Well, technically, they could, but they'd probably loose.

Also a lot of sites put up agreements that if any Jagex staff, or are working/in afflation with Jagex staff sign up for the forums, they cannot take legal action against them. They sign, and agree to that agreement so technically, it would be quite hard to get the proof.

Not to mention, there's all kinds of agreements and such that the owners of these underground sites come up with to PROTECT themselves from being sued. I'm sure Jagex would love to sue them, but it's easier said then done.

Bizzyboy, that won't work. They can just get a Proxy IP (fake IP address) and make more bots.

I knew a 4th Grader who made a Proxy IP, it's not that hard.

Personally, I think Jagex could stop a lot of the bots if they blocked Runescape from China and the Koreas, since that's actually where tons of bots come from.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to just go vigilante and shut down someone's website that they pay for.

jagex has legal rights to shut them down and they can sue if they want.

If they sue them on a regular basis, we wont have to pay to be members anymore! yay!

Trust me, everyone, including me, has thought about this so much. This idea has appeared before. I dont mean to sound negative, but it will be a miracale when one of us finds the answer to bots. I would assume jagex is working hard on this.

Hello, this is the avenging renegades dectecting agency's report. We have found that jagex is guilty of some terms.

1.jagex is the base root of the auto's,i guess the membership money wasnt good enough for them.:( :-k .

and for that little mistake of theirs i would like to give them a big =D>

because they actualy hid it for a long time.

2.see its the perfect plan, they are racking in the money from the auto's and membership money.and they look like the inocint good guys saying report the auto's.Ever notice how when you report an auto it never does anything.jagex needs to learn there are things they can hide but avenging renegade will be following there tracks.

peace out,

That's because a majority of them aren't macros as Jagex has already pointed out, but gold farmers. If you think about it, watching four or five accounts on one or two computers, as they chop trees, isn't really that hard of a task for one person to do. Just watching for randoms and occasionally clicking towards the bank.

In short, your post fails, and as a player with no ranked stats, you hardly have played long enough to have a valid opinion or valid knowledge on how Jagex runs their business to be making claims.
