Players that have played for a while

I know there are capes for those who have achieved 99 status, but I think there should be something based on the length of time a person has played the game. I don't have 99 levels, but I've played the game since the beta and consider myself an original player. I just think it would be nice to give notice to those who have played like 5 years or longer based on when they created their characters.

JAGeX would get ranted out by many many players...

What do you mean? By people who are jealous because they can't get the 5-year reward? Well, they could.... in 5 years. It's actually be longer than that for me. I started in college and have been out for 5 years. Probably closer to 7 years that I've been playing this game (not continuously 24/7 like a lot of crazy people.)

It would be kool but it is not needed.

Simply waste of jagex time because not many peeps care about how long u played.

Sometimes I wonder how many of the high-level people have played at a casual pace like myself instead of the 24/7s that get there quick because they have nothing else to do. I'm 29 years old, have a wife, baby and a full-time job. My lvl 90 isn't going to be the same lvl 90 as the teenager during summer vacation. I just think it would show a little respect to those who have helped pave the way for the game, not just the ones that have the time to kill.

Ok, you guys obviously aren't going for the idea, so how about an emote or item based on money alone? I'm only 87 combat and still can't mine adam, but I've got over 200M gold including tradeable rares. Merchanting is a major part of the game also. Shouldn't people who devote time to the pursuit of the mighty dollar be recognized as such?

I got sick on that easter, just as i did on every other easter, but i haven't been sick since that last easter, so i missed bunny ears :(

I watched my older brother getting some though, but i couldn't stand on my legs lol

Players should receive those items into their bank when they missed it somehow :(

Then someone would pay $100 or so for however money it takes to get the cape. It would increase real world item trading.

I think he meant it figuratively or that of RS gp.

So you're actually suggesting JaGex implements something into the game which for several years have been trying to stop?... :XD:

That'd be cool. That way I could get all the holiday items I missed, but alas it cannot be...

perhaps not a specific time period if not it will just be a matter of time before everyone gets that item. instead jagex could reward all those accounts which have been around since rsc...yes i know there are scythes and stuff but wouldnt it be cool if you had that circular halo picture of a pickaxe when mining once again? so as someone suggested wearing that cape could make you revert to the classic way of life \' besides, even if ppl have scythes how many ppl do u see going around with them each day? those are pretty useless since they have no function nor are tradable...

maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cooking

life may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?
