Xeones
I have 53 Magic, 70 Defense, and 70 Hitpoints. Where is the most efficient place to cast Crumble Undead without needing food. I've been doing it on the Varrock Sewers Zombies across the river but it isn't very efficient. Why? Because say I hit a 10, then a 15. They have 5 HP left, meaning I can only hit up to 5, where I could have hit higher on another Undead creature. Ankous hit too hard, especially with nooby Mystic Armor on. The Edgeville Dungeon Skeletons are great, but it's in the wilderness. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance for any help.

Mamong
Hm there isn't really much to suggest. There are lvl 30 zombies in the Stronghold of Security on the second floor, but they only have 30hp, so you will have the same situation as before. Those skeletons you mentioned in the Wilderness can also be found on Crandor near Elvarg, not sure how many are there though. Good luck. nerdattack16
The skeletons under Crandor are level 45, with 59 hitpoints, and I believe there are safespots available. Of course, Varrock zombies/skeletons might be better. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
Xeones
Thanks to all replyers. I'm looking for monsters with a 50-70 HP range that cannot deal substantial damage to me so there is no need for food. How can I get to the Crandor skeletons and do they hit hard? Any more? Championfurydelta123
You get there by taking a ship to Karajama goign through the valcano to the other side which leads u to them...But i suggestyou do arrok dongeon ones By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius
Xeones
So the consensus is that I should stay at the level 24 Zombies in Varrock Sewers? OK, but I thought there were better options, especially when you're a member.
Xeones
How about one of these? http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=771 or http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=774 or http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=311 Any of these good and don't hit through 70 Defense and Mystic? Doomster
There is a workable Ankou safespot... South from the entrance, west through the next room, then get the spot on the south wall of the Ankou/Skeleton room, close to the door. It works pretty well, as they normally corner-trap if they get close, but a teleport away random ususlly drops you back in trouble, with one already at the south wall. Brollygerman
what is better for train, crumble undead or fire bolt? why there is on all damages spells (x)XP+? robgrout
what about the skeletons under barrows in the tunnels not sure how high there hp is but it normaly takes 3-4 hits with a whip so its proly like 50-60 + you will get a very high kill count (you could do say 200casts every barrows run like mix barroing with crumbl undeading)
Goobore
...? Because say I hit a 10, then a 15. They have 5 HP left, meaning I can only hit up to 5, where I could have hit higher on another Undead creature. .. Well, as you have realized, this issue will happen no matter what level monster you fight. Although, it is less of a problem with higher level monsters. 2 suggestions... 1) Finish off the monster with a firestrike. Kinda clumsy to do but it does "preserve" your chaos runes for the "big hits" 2) Switch to failed Curses. Under the best situation, CU averages about 39 magic exp per cast but failed Curse always gives 29 per cast. So, you will always hit for max exp with Curse instead of averaging something in the mid 30's with CU. Plus you can cast about 3 FC for the same price as 1 CU, so you will get more magic exp per gp spent. (Although it will be a bit slower) You could probably find safe spots outside of Elvargs lair and near the Ankous in the SoS. But, the above ideas will probably work as well. Hope this helps
Slayer_Jesse
if you have done shilo village, you can safley cast it on the undead oens by the gate without being attacked. i think they like lvl 70? Xeones
To anyone who wants to know, I want to get to 82 Magic. But, I also want some HP experience mixed into that. I will use Crumble Undead to 60 Magic. I will then do Family Crest and get the Chaos Gauntlets. Then, I will Fire Bolt until 70 Magic. Since 70 to 82 Magic will take a long time with Fire Bolt, I will High Alchemy the rest of my Magic levels. At the Zombies, I get 3800 xp per 100 casts. I don't know if that's good, so tell me. I could try Ankous, I guess.
Goobore
...At the Zombies, I get 3800 xp per 100 casts. The exp earned with Crumble Undead is 24.5 + HitDone*2 Your data says that you are averaging 38 exp per CU cast, so your average Hitdone is (38-24.5)/2 = 6.75 The "simple" expected value for HitDone is Maxhit/2 For CU that is 15/2 = 7.5 So, you are averaging 90% of the "simple" expected damage. That's sounds pretty good to me. You could stay where you are since you are getting a good average, it's close to a bank, and it's 100% safe Hope this helps
wioneo
You could use the Shilo undead ones. I don't think you need to do the quest to attck them, but I'm not sure. You should do Shilo anyways. You could kill ghouls across the river salve near caniffis. Umm... when you get 66 magic you could use the skeletons in the mage guild basement... I can't think of anything else at the moment.
