Introduction

 

 

 

On the 18th of September, the Ourania Runecrafting altar was released. This altar was discovered by the ZMI (Zamorakian Magical Institute) and since then they have been using it to make their runes and are guarding it fiercely. I am here to supply information to those who wish to use this altar for the purpose of gaining Runecrafting experience or just to gain a chance at receiving the coveted Blood and Soul runes. My current analysis of this altar is based upon my current Runecrafting level, 87. However, regardless of level, my guide will help anyone at any level. This is a reasonably long guide, so you might want to take a break before you read it, or even part way through it. Keep in mind that this is the first guide I have written.

While the Penance gloves do reduce weight by 4.5kg, you are already at -1kg. Although you are lighter, there isn't much a of a change in energy loss while running when your weight is beneath 0kg. But I do agree that they are a good enough substitute for the Karamja Gloves 3, but in my opinion, you should get the Karamja Gloves 3.

I'll see if I can fix that section up. However, as you can tell I tested this at 87 Runecrafting and could not test it at lower level's. I can't add in that information until someone is willing to test it for me, and send the information to me, I said this in the conclusion. Another problem is at that Runecrafting level, you will gain a level before you even do 700 Essence, making the results unreliable.

I was directed to world 70 and found it full with ZIM crafters, they even had their own clan chat: ZMI crafters.

 

 

 

Its good because with so many ppl you almost get through without any damage and, of course, you get a tele group back for free almost every time.

Although World 70 is the unofficial Ourania altar world, and you do receive less damage, it will not be like that all the time. But by all means use world 70 whilst Runecrafting, but this guide stills shows you how to do be efficient at Runecrafting solo.

 

 

 

Yes you can receive free teleports to moonclan bank but I prefer to rely on my skills to do this. Another thing is that I have heard of some people trying to use Group Ice Plateau Teleport. Even if you are watching the screen, if you keep up this routine of accepting teleports, you will click accept before you realise where it was directed because of this routine.

Ha, i do it at world 70 just so that i dont get hurt too much by the mobs.

 

 

 

Well about the level changing thing, the test should still be able to be run without many leveling up's; the general level range should still remain the same.

 

 

 

Of course, getting people to do it at low levels is hard, the average revenue and xp you get per essence crafted is rather low since you make many of the "noob" runes with pure essence, so maybe this method is not popular with lower runecrafters. So good luck with that :

I like the guide alot. It contains everything a player needs to decide on wether to use the ZMI alter.

nice guide. i'm substituting the ghostly robe top with the varrock armour 3 and it seems to help. still low weight at 0kg. [hide][/hide]

 

also, you can leave your pouches in your bank when going to the dark mage and he'll repair them while they're in your bank.

 

 

 

the moonclan teleport is fast and world 70 is the way to go.

Very nice guide though this is my equipment (never have to use super energies) plus dont take much damage and when i do i turn on +20 defense and rapid heal

WOW! Nice guide! I like to rc, I used this when it first came out to go from 48, i think, to 54. Then I crafted some 1k laws so that I can tele to my heart's content :P When I got for 59, I'll post my data. I leared sooo much from this guide... Just WOW!

 

 

 

The only thing is, like the other person said, the steps of what to do is disorganised. Maybe, add a title to the part about how to repair your pouches. And, you said that the big pouch degrades every 11th run- is that a fact? What about the other pouches? If you small, medium or large pouch degrades, should you go repair them immediatly?

 

 

 

And, Go to w70, turn Accept aid OFF, and cast the tele group moonclan. No need to worry about other people there with their teleports, but you still have a mass of people there to get in the way of monsters, and you're helping out other people with the group tele.

Bank at "Bird-Eye Jack"'s Booth, which is right next to the other Sirsal Bankers. The others won't let you bank, only he will.
