It seems like people could tell when the gameplay's not as deep as, say, a football game. (I hate sports games in general, I'm just saying that I've played both soccer games and football games, and football games have definitely been alot more in-depth) Bubsa's point does not still stand because I wasn't saying anything about the actual sport. I don't mind soccer, it can be fun to play.

The new FIFA game is completely different to any of the other games.

 

 

 

It's much more difficult, ie; you can't just run at the defence and score every time like you could in 07. They learn your tactics, they adjust to your moves and passing style.

 

 

 

It still might not be as good in gameplay as PES, but it's a damn sight better than any other FIFA game.

The player names it does not have, but to me, it doesn't matter. I don't care about playing with a specific team and winning a specific tournament with it. I want to have a good time, score pretty goals, as in goals that I'd be proud to have scored IRL and which I know are hard to reproduce in the game. And not just goals, making a classy tackle or a nice feint is also rewarding, because PES is a GOOD game. FIFA has none of that appeal to me. It's all graphics and names.

Its just that you guys dont care what player you are, which to me sounds like you dont really care about which players is which.

To be honest, you can just tell who is who. The player names just have a few letters changed round on PES, you can still tell who they are. Plus you can just get a file on your memory card where everything has been changed to have real logos, names and kits etc.

Funny, I've played NFL and FIFA games from EA and FIFA ones are better. NFL is just... pass and run.

I didnt say that, I tried to specify that it didnt sound as though you are a football fan since as you didnt particullary care which player is which, therefore didnt know many football players.
