October 19, 200718 yr Just came across this amusing little factoid from Gore's Grades Belie Image of Studiousness. For all of Gore's later fascination with science and technology, he often struggled academically in those subjects. The political champion of the natural world received that sophomore D in Natural Sciences 6 (Man's Place in Nature) and then got a C-plus in Natural Sciences 118 his senior year. But I guess we should thank him for inventing the Internet or you wouldn't be reading this. :XD:

Fighting (or slowing down) global warming promotes peace because it allows future generations to survive. but HOW is he fighting it? making a movie and doing a lot of [bleep]ing doesn't do ANYTHING! it just proves you have a lot of time on your hands. its not like he sold his house and car and private jet to invest all his money in non-polluting technology, instead he makes it worse by traveling the country trying to get average people to do the same things he ISN'T doing. i don't understand how anyone can take this guy seriously.... :wall:

Ive always thought this. While global warming DOES happen, the movie greatly exaggerated the problems global warming could cause. Remember, Al Gore IS a politician.

Just imagine how nice that Nobel Peace Prize will look when Al Gore wants to run for President.. They(his party) could argue how he is a some kind of a great humanitarian when in reality, all he did was write(well, had written- whether or not these politicians actually write their novels is up for debate) a novel basically compiling what pro-Global Warming scientists had said with glossy pictures. Global warming is being used to further the Liberal political agenda and it sickens me.. Fools!
