axe, the left leg of your character should be smaller than the right leg b/c the right leg is closer to the viewer.

Thanks adolpha, not sure if I will finish it or not.

Keep posting work folks! nice job. I was super busy yesterday, but got a bit of work done on this piece, which I finished today. No reference, just playing around.

EDIT: I reworked the torso, shortening it, and rotating it, changed the angle of the right arm, changed the hair a bit and lengthened the left arm, etc. and reworked the breast area. Hopefully looks better :)

Hmm... maybe I'll start sketching again...I have a lot of empty pages in my sketchpads. I can't find a pencil sharpener anywhere in this place, so I guess I'll have to fork out $$ for one.

I really like the stretching piece you whipped up, ttt... :) And I love the colors you used on the dive picture.

Gandorf, on the pixel I would say

tone down the circular motion on the chest. Otherwise pretty good :)

That's a nice butt.

the diving one isnt as good as your stretching girl. the body structure seems a little awkward. unless its supposed to be like that due to the ripples in the water.

More clothing practice, loosely from reference. First work I ever did with softness on 0. I have been trying harder brushes, but usually around 50 or so..this worked fine. And I didn't even realize it was that way until I finished.

Gandorf, it is actually looking pretty good! Better than most first attempts I have seen for sure. You should pursue this more. It helps of course if you have a tablet.

Two things that I think would help it a lot.

First, go over the lines and clean them up. Some are bumpy. Use the eraser tool or just paint over it.

Second, and this is the biggest, you have to take a more transparent brush (I use 95 percent transparent) and brush over the hard transition lines from color to color to blend them in.

I only use anything aside from hard elliptical brushes if im texturing. It's like trying to catch a baseball - if you run too far in at once on a high-fly you'll probably miss it - so you watch it closely and run in only as much as you need to.

Anyways, I just dropped in to to pay t3 some props for getting away from his cartoonish nature slowly but steadily. If I ever do any sketchwork aside from hand-control exercises I know where to post them. XP

thx tttia!!! :D i was just wondering... your scetches look so smooth do u use an automatic line straightener? or somthing? :P
