nightshade53
Why is everyone raving about them? Someone talk me through them, they must have been a recent update? ~Kray
hephaestos8
with the unlimited stock update, you can now "buy x" and bone bolts are 4gp ea they hit between steel and mith arrows

ultimatballr
Well from what I have read, they are cheap (4-5gp ea) and hit as hard as mith bolts. Other than that I dunno whats so great about them. Apparently, my signature was to big.

ultimatballr
I have seen bolts a few times. I would assume I am correct, however the people I saw say bolts, I don't know how credible their info is. Apparently, my signature was to big. bigboi18184
well lets see, they cost 4 gp ea and at 82 range i hit 16's regulary on fire giants and hell hounds however if your planning on ranging anything with higher def give it up, tried on blk drags and took around 150 bolts to kill one....thats almost 5 mins, but on hellhounds for clue their unbeatable. Nopheo
Great for cost effective training. Hmm Hellhounds you say. Didn't think of that. What was stock of bone bolts before update?
Assassin1357
Ahh, rubbish then :P then you didnt read correctly, they are about equal to mith bolts and arrows and are only 4gp each. i dont see how thats rubbish when mith bolts are like 140gp each
Xeones
They're good because it costs virtually nothing to get to any ranged level you want if you train at a place with even mildly decent drops.

Why don't you re-read it? And there is a massive difference between the max hits of arrows and bolts.
agira
Yes i checked not long time ago where they sell they, they are 4gp each for sure and after update you can buy how much you want they... I hope then Jagex not decide to change they price, but they ruin all others range training methods and i think are fluent to P2P Ranged equipment like arrows prices... Like i have a lot of ranged stuff in bank: Magic Short bow, Magic Long bow - for use from bigger distances, Crystal Bow, Rune Crossbow, Dwarf Canon, headless arrows, Iron, Steel, Mith arrows, Opal Bolts (e) & etc.. It take a lot of bank space and I think to use all arrows and leave in bank just: Magic Short bow - Just still have to low fletching to make it :) Crystal Bow - Because i already have it, maybye some day it will be useful; Rune Crossbow - for some Hight level monsters killing with Ruby/Diamond (e) bolts & etc... And to buy bone Cbow and bolts... I thinked to train smithing on arrow trips making then get some fletch exp, but now is better to get bone bolts and i think price of regular arrows must go down.. because bone bolts is cheap and you do good damage with they.. Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
VjuliusT
It's faster then the rune c bow and it hit 20s at 99 ranged (I potted) and it's better on monsters with lower defence then rune c bow with mith/addy bolts.
suomiownaa
Bone bolts are good to range training, and cheap.

Yes, but Cbow good for hight lvl monsters not for training this is reason why we must keep cbow in bank too.. Juader
Just to note, theyre equal to addy arrows, not mith bolts because i hit 20's with mith bolts. and 16 with addy arrows and bone bolts VIX VIX VIX
WingedFish
I don't think they're between steel and mith... Addy arrows more like. I max 16 with bone bolts, and 11s with steel. They're really cost effective :)
Nopheo
Only down side is poor range. or distance.
