November 8, 200718 yr This one's for you, Indy. Elder Scrolls MMORPG As the page brought up, could this possibly take on WoW? It should be pretty huge either way. I'm definitely looking forward to more news.
November 8, 200718 yr I'm not going to lie, I'm not too excited about this. I don't really care for the MMORPG format, I like single player games much better. When it comes to TES games, mods really are one of the best parts of it. That won't really be possible with a MMORPG, but they may allow some sort of player made content system, maybe something like Second Life does. I will definitely try it out though :D .
November 8, 200718 yr Author How come your link says it's un-confimed by Bethesda? Heh, I reloaded the page and that wasn't there before. In that case, this can probably go to the rumor vault. Unless anyone here still wants speculative discussion on this, it can be locked.
November 8, 200718 yr This game has been around for a year and a half... Get back here so I can rub your butt.

November 9, 200718 yr 300 MILLION DOLLARS!!!     Isn't that like twenty times the amount that's usually spent on a large-budget MMO? Tabula Rasa had, I believe, 20 million, and Vanguard had like 30 million. With that kind of money, you could easily overshadow WoW. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
November 10, 200718 yr Well there are a few things that they would have to include into Elder Scrolls MMORPG... One of which is just straighten out some of stuff it was missing like... the stuff in this mod that I love (site here:http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4077) and then get clans together to build little towns in the deep wilderness that start at a few tents around a campfire to a castle and use the before said mod to furnish and help build it. I love the Elder Scrolls series and if they put Daggerfell, Morrowind, and Oblivion all together with new skills that could branch out from mainly construction and the previous additions from the mod, I'd be one happy guy. (Slothsheim has to be included, my favorite part of the entire series.) I wish it was more than rumor mill... Blender builderToday's experiment is:Learning how to make light industrial space craft.
November 10, 200718 yr I can see myself playing this over WoW but do I think this'll be a WoW killer? No. WoW has a fan base that can't be rivaled by any current MMORPG out there. A new MMORPG would have a though time competing , I can see Lineage or Everquest beating WoW before I see a new MMORPG doing it. Plus, the developers don't have the kind of experience that Blizzard has. They said LOTRO was a WoW killer, but it wasn't. I can see the same thing happing with TES:Online You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."
