November 23, 200718 yr At the runescape homepage scroll down until you see "Recently added articles" and you'll see "Summoning Part 1 - Concept" and to the left of the summoning article, you'll see the picture on top of this post which shows a sun and a moon. In the November BTS Jagex mentioned a very big update. A new skill is just as big as the other new skills, so why mention this one as something that's gigantic? Because it could possibly bring daytime and nighttime. Will summoning bring Day and Night along with it, making it easier to summon creatures at different times or for some unrelated reason? Discuss

Yeah, I think that the daytime and nighttime will come and go much quicker, for the people that could only play at certain times of the day.

November 23, 200718 yr Author It might, but you can already do that with the brightness settings...But the brightness setting really doesn't effect the game that much (other then everything being darker)

November 23, 200718 yr ^^ that wouldn't really make sense to have it go by server time,maybe there's a really strong monster you can only summon at nighttime-the player on that server would jut go 'oh look,it's daytime now,lets hop. November 23, 200718 yr I hope they don't introduce night time.... I sometimes find it hard enough to see the game screen as it is lol. Darkened areas would just annoy me.
November 23, 200718 yr I think it's a good possibility that it would happen. You could summon normal things at daytime, but like the same form of it but a stronger for of it in a zombie/skeleton form at night time or something.
November 23, 200718 yr Runescape time could follow a different system to Earth time. Heck, how about it be done completely out of sync so people can log in, even if they con only log in on on certain times of the (Earth) day, they would log in to day or night? It's a great idea. ~ W ~

Because if they fx. made 12 hour day and 12 hours night to fill out a complete day, then some players would always play at daytime and others at night. I hope you get what I mean. People normally play at the same time of the day --> which means they will play at the same time in RS, making it possible only to play at either day or night all after how they add night to RS. 99 ranged | 99 magic | 99 defence | 99 hitpointsRemember, it's just a gameFeel free to add me on RS. :) Always ready for a chat.

In another game i play (FFXI) they have like an hour = 2 mins and you can go through several days in 2-3 hours and nighttime does have alot of dif. things ( like undead appear and some monster become stronger etc.) opposed to day-time
