The Easiest 1000 Gamerscore You'll Get (Hold B For 2 Min.)

Featured Replies

I was browsing Digg one day, and discovered this interesting little tidbit. For those who care about your Gamerscore, wouldn't you like an easy way to get 1000 points? How about in two minutes? By simply holding down a button?

Yea...that's what I thought.

Even though I don't know a 360 yet, I understand getting 1000 gamerscore can take several games completed; yet, in Avatar - The Legend of Aang - The Burning Earth, the developers must of thought the feat of beating a few games over time is equivalent to the effort of holding 'B' for two minutes. Just by starting the game and standing in a certain position for two minutes, holding B, you can easily rack up 1000 gamerscore.

 Discuss.

Thats stupid.

Chances are they did it on purpose because they knew their game would suck. At least this way it'll get rented a lot just for the gamerscore...

Gamerscore, for me, was a way to show how good you are at a particular, maybe not obvious way to do something in a game. But hold B for 1000 points? That's ridiculous.

I'm going to rent it too. Not because I'm a gamerscore noob, just because I want to get a 1000 gamerscore start compared to my friends 2840 :P

Meh I don't know why people obsess over gamerscore. My 360 score is something like 500.

It's not necessarily something a [sane] person obsesses about, it's kind of like combat like in Runescape. You don't have to train it, but it makes you look good.

Haha, just a way to get people to buy the game :P

IMO not worth the $6 to rent it, I'd rather play a couple games that I actually enjoy, and my parents wouldn't let me rent a game like that because they know I hate those kind of games, so they would get suspicious :XD:

 Why...do your parents compete with gamerscore for you?

No, because they won't let me to waste $6 on something useless like gamerscore

If it was up to me I would do it... But sadly, no :(

Meh, with all the sales and coupons going on during the Black Friday time period I'm sure you could score it for free. Most game rental stores have a 'first rental free' deal too. I never really rent stuff, so...

really with all the basic stuff on games like guitar heroes 2 and 3 (beating it on easy, beating it on medium, 100 note streak, perfectionist, 500 note streak(easy on the low experts), buying all bonus songs, practicning 3 different songs, 100k, 200k, 2003 in any song, getting an 8x multiplier, beating advancing to a new city, spending $10k, failing a song on easy, ...

all of that i just mentioned was just 340 points right there. all of that was also only on one game... guitar hero 2

added with the basics of guitar hero 3... is 470 in two games in only collecting the basic i'd just barely be trailing behind you. honestly dont look at how to get a gamerscore then avoid it just play the game to the best of your ability and it'll just raise (btw a lot of guitar hero 3 gamerscores are from failing :wall: )

I don't see a point in gamerscore but my friend apparently does. He rented Cars last week just for the gamerscore. His total is 50,509.

The gameplay on that video made me lol. Crappy game.

it's the greatness that is Avatar
