I got an assignment for 14 bronze dragons. I Burthorpe'd it and got an assignment of 48 monkeys. But I cannot attack the monkeys, it says I cannot hit them with hand-to-hand combat, no matter what type of attack I am using. I have started Monkey Madness; would that have anything to do with it?

Did you attempt to kill the monkeys on Karamja?

Also remember, you can kill other monsters that have monkey in their name.. let me see if there are any...

Use range or magic attacks. I believe it's part of a quest where you can't kill them like that.

lol, you have to range of mage them. Just go near the karamja volcano, there's a few around there.

The monkeys around the volcanoe, if I remember, can be meleed, most other monkeys need to be attacked with magic or range. Hally falls under melee.

for some reason you cant hally them if they stand next to you, but you can if they stand one space away :-k

Outside the nature alter there is 10 or so monkeys which you can kill with hand-to-hand combat.
