I logged in for the first time in 6 months to agree completely with this point.

 

 

 

I quit RS about 6 months ago, and I still have great memories. But what the thread maker has said is so true (I use to love WWE too, just watch it every once in a while now).

 

 

 

I'm glad when I quit, it wasn't fully ruined (great grammar hey?).

Goodbye, its so sad to see a WWE fan and a Runescape player just leave the game like this. The part about the GE was right, but it wasnt an idea turned awful, it was something that didnt come out as it was hyped.

 

 

 

For example, Chris Jericho's return was hyped heavily and IMO it lived to its hype, the only thing wrong was the fans' reactions, it wasnt good. Same for Runescape, updates can be awesome, sometimes its just us players that make it seem awful. The "Miniclip Era" is comparable to the Hornswoggle storyline, its entertaining and funny, but its mostly for kids.

 

 

 

Most of the time things happen that we dont like but cannot change, for example; if the Benoit tragedy never happened or Kennedy never got on drugs, we would never have got ol' Horny and Wrestlemania 20 wouldnt be erased from history; if there werent so many real life traders and scammers, the duel arena thing wouldnt have happened.

 

 

 

Thats my theory, and to those that bash Vince and WWECW, true it wasnt the same before, but unlike ONS 05, it can never happen again but it is slowly getting better and better. The same could be said for Tna but I personally have extreme hate for it.

I'm getting really sick of all the lil babies on Tip It kissing up to Jagex while flaming anyone who disagrees with them in slightest. IMHO whiners whining about whiners need to get a grip on their life and look at themselves in the mirror to see how ridiculous they are. What's next? ontopic: yes jagex isnt doing too well right now, i thought grand exchange would of changed runescape forever but it didnt really do much, plus that duel arena update. #-o

The reason it's going to the dogs is Jagex is making the game more kid friendly, I played for nearly 2 years but quit in Jan, i still login to TIP though as I like to see what goes on.

 

 

 

I seen the grand exchange and thought wow I can shift all my crap so I logged in, subscribed and put all my stuff up for sale, haha none of it sold, so i tried for 3 days in a row, still nothing sold, so i just canceled my sub and will go back to my other game :)

 

 

 

Scammers will always be in runescape, people will always buy and sell gold, if Jagex thinks by capping everything it will get better, they are very wrong, all it does is make us older players quit and we get replaced by kids and scammers. I still like Runescape, the idea is great but its just worn out now, it feels like a 1980's ford escort, it still runs but every time you drive it somthing goes wrong.

 

 

 

Move with the times Jagex, a new mod comes out for WOW next year, and you know it's going to be a huge event, bring some fun into Runescape, do anything but make it worth playing.
