Nadril Posted April 24, 2005 Share Posted April 24, 2005 =Full =Compressed Well, as of now you guys are probaly used to my montonous (sp?) 1 color space scenes. I decided that had to come to a stop, so i worked on my first space scene where i actualy used more than one color (lol) :lol: anyways, i also messed around with The curves/levels/gradient map as well. I found out a few tricks to realy get your scene too look better. So,.. i'm probaly going to remove the smaller text (later though) so just ignore it. It looks very nice, but I think the multi color looks odd. Not bad, odd. We have to be willing to try new concepts, and this one kinda has an odd feel to it. The only part that does not look good is the text. Maybe a different font or placement is in order. Over all, very nice. Need assistance in any of these skills? ColAvanor Posted April 25, 2005 Share Posted April 25, 2005 I disvalue monotonous space scenes quite a bit and think that this is definately an improvement. Still, I don't feel for the nebulaes. Perhaps they are too grainy and sharp I don't know excatly. The lack of outer glow on the planet makes it seem a paste-on work, I'd concider adding one. The text...my god. Remove the "pill" or whatever? please? It's definately the low point on this one. Anyway, the thing I love...Colours! I really dig diverse colours and IMO they work quite well in harmony. (I don't have a clue how they "actually work in theory" ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬ÃâÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ good vibes that's all) Rather nice siggy. Keep it up! PS the compressed one is horribly worse. It also seems garish next to the dark planet and background. Overdoing it with curves? :lol: The text is ugly and I don't know whats with the transparent pill..?? lol :| No text would look cooler IMO. Don't worry about being harsh, i'll probaly start my space sigs bigger next time (this was 600x300 only at first, i'll do like 900x600 or bigger :P) and i'll fix the text.
