Well, as of now you guys are probaly used to my montonous (sp?) 1 color space scenes. I decided that had to come to a stop, so i worked on my first space scene where i actualy used more than one color (lol) :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyways, i also messed around with The curves/levels/gradient map as well. I found out a few tricks to realy get your scene too look better.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So,.. i'm probaly going to remove the smaller text (later though) so just ignore it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What do you all think? i need to just get some more planets made now :D

The planet doesn't blend very well, almost like it's pasted on. Also, The leader of the gull text under your name is horrible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other than that, it's better than your other stuff.

It looks very nice, but I think the multi color looks odd. Not bad, odd. We have to be willing to try new concepts, and this one kinda has an odd feel to it. The only part that does not look good is the text. Maybe a different font or placement is in order.

I disvalue monotonous space scenes quite a bit and think that this is definately an improvement. Still, I don't feel for the nebulaes. Perhaps they are too grainy and sharp I don't know excatly. The lack of outer glow on the planet makes it seem a paste-on work, I'd concider adding one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The text...my god. Remove the "pill" or whatever? please? It's definately the low point on this one. Anyway, the thing I love...Colours! I really dig diverse colours and IMO they work quite well in harmony. (I don't have a clue how they "actually work in theory" ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬ÃâÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ good vibes that's all)

C&C - The nebula is sharp, and looks too much like crumpled tinfoil. It also seems garish next to the dark planet and background. Overdoing it with curves? :lol:
