Mr_Adam
Epee, He's saying that he's made his own forums, and wants to know if he can make it so it plays music upon entering them. Like Linkin Park :P But I honestly have no clue how to do so.
Lord Diddy
I have done something like this before, but since no information was given such as your correct browser, what domain site are you using, etc. So I'll just put the website url that showed me how to do it. Mercifull
Dont do it... please. Its terribly bad netiquette. MageUK
Dont do it... please. Its terribly bad netiquette. +1 Agreed. Not only that, it will restart every single time the user changes page. Unless of course you put it in a frame or a popup window. Which is just... annoying. Just don't do it.
Earpy
Wouldn't that be prettie heavy on the server aswell? A song starting up everytime a new page is loaded? :anxious:

Nadril
Yeah don't do it. The only sites I can stand with music on them are those that just have some light trance or something in the background, and something you can easily turn off. Case in point: Falcon Northwest's website. On a forums its a bad idea though.
deep_pain
If you want to have music on your site, best to have a play button, so it only plays if people choose to play it. basically a radio. That way it doesn't annoy those who dont want to hear it, and wont slow people down. Worth getting a compression tool to shrink the music, although you can embed a song directly on the page which will run through media player, as you are using phpBB I'd suggest looking for a radio mod.
