HP Pure VS. Pure Skiller?

I was thinking earlier...

My main account, M6c Magnum, is a level 3. I didn't start the account at level 3 to be a skiller or anything, I started it so that I could get my mining to 85 and then mine runite without being attacked in the wild (not many people under level 50 in level 45+ wild.. haha).

Now, I was thinking...

With these quests:

Recipe for Disaster (4000)

Royal Trouble (5000)

Witch's House (6325)

I could get 15325 experience and then plus the 1154 you get when you start runescape, you would have 16479exp...

That would make you level 32 hitpoints with level 1 attack, str, def, and magic/range....

Your combat level would only be 8.

Level 3 with 10hp VS. Level 8 with 32hp

Which do you think would be better in general? For mining runite?

Do you think the extra 5 levels will be bad as that means more people can attack me in the wild, or do you think it will be worth it?

I'm afraid at 10hp I will get 1hit, but I doubt people can 1hit 32hp at level 40ish (especially in f2p)...

Also, 32hp would make me feel a lot safer about carry over 100mil on my head...

But then again, you cannot really undo the HP.. I would have to live with the mistake, if it turned out to be one, for the rest of my career?

Also: if I wanted MORE than 32hp, are there any other ways? Any quests I missed? The quests that give lamps I have to use on Slayer... same with genie lamps and books of knowledge...

How do you plan on doing RFD and Royal Trouble with a level3 though?

Well, I suppose you could do this, but the question is why?

If your so inclined to do this then by all means go ahead and do it. Im sure there are a few more quests that you can also do to get your hitpoints and hitpoints level up only, as well as any genie lamps and books of knowledge you get to use on your hitpoints skill.

This almost reminds me of a fella that was going for 60 defence with all other Combat stats at lvl 1.

I believe he was trying to wear full Dragon At level 19 combat or something, or at least thats what he was planning...

Wonder how hes progressed with that, anyone know who I am talking about?

Oooh... the quest "Grim Tales" gives another 5,000 hitpoints exp :)

And quick question:

The quest "Shadow Of The Storm" says the reward is "10,000 exp in a combat skill of your choice." Does that include hitpoints?

Oh, and I have to ask.. does that include slayer? :D

Its basically a tossup between a larger block of hp to keep your stuff safe v being low enough to mine rune without people being able to kill you.. It's really your choice, but what you level can't be undone.. Personally, I'd go with staying at lvl 3, but always carrying a few pieces of high-healing food, so that if something DOES attack you, you'll still have enough time to run to safety.

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.

I think that you should go with the level 8 combat guy. It's to dangerous with a hp level of just 10. There won't be many who can attack a level 3 in the wilderness, but you never know. If you have a hp level of 32 you will at least have a chance to flee with your ores.

Unfortunately, it doesn't include slayer. However both of those quests involve an end fight which would be extremely difficult for anyone with low combat stats, especially Grim Tales - Glod (boss monster) is immune to poison melee and you wouldn't have the option for any other kind of poison. As well as that, if you look at the prerequisite quests for Royal Trouble you'll find you gain xp in other combat stats (Hero's Quest and Fremmenik Trials, are the two.)

It makes more sense to me to gain the extra hp and combat levels for the safety margin they provide you though.
