i suppose. there's still clan wars ya'know? just fight lower leveled clans and instant ownage again. now you can wear all your expensive items too without fear. clan wars, that is, if it wasn't about the money. even duel arena can still be fun i guess.

Peppy: "Do a barrel roll!"

Fox: "That's your solution for everything..."

Peppy: "Just press Z or R twice!"

Fox: "No, Peppy..."

I haven't been playing long enough to say I will quit, I was here for a week before the changes, so I can't complain much, but I am still sticking around because I want to see the finished product.

Why in the world would anyone want to quit? This was the best update ever.

Because I cant really do much with my friends or cousin anymore because items and cash can not be trade unless I am going to go around and give my level 100 friends iron armor.

Ok ya, I keep forgetting the trading thing. That part just plain stinks IMO. When I say "best update ever" I'm being a little one-sided in that doing away with player killing is the "best" part.

Why is doing away with PKing the "Best Part"?

Because player killing was, for most people the one facet of the game that made it unplayable. Really, only the uber-high levels pk'd, and those are the people that dedicate HOURS and HOURS to the game. Most people don't have such a sheltered life.

I'm sure jagex partly did away with it to stop the RWT, but I would say it was mostly due to that it allowed a small percentage of players to have a totally unfair advantage over the majority, and when you have that you lose members. The wilderness is now a fun place full of new things to do and see. And please dont tell me its more dangerous with the reverants. Theyre easy to escape and are nowhere near as dangerous as a pack of 12 year olds chasing after you for your dhides and food.

Yes, it ws part of the game, blahblahblah. Now it's not. With good reason. =D>

I quitted. :XD: Rs became pointless after the removal of staking. And it became even more pointless after wildness disappeared.

If your quitting because you cant give things to your friends, I dont think we want you here anyway. Go find another game to be petty over.

I haven't played in ages. But that's got to do with rl issues (exams and such), but I never PKed or Staked, so I'm not quitting. Runescape is much more than PvP combat. Infact, I'm renewing my membership after my exams.
