new laptop

Featured Replies

i'm getting a new laptop and i was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for one. I'm on a budget of under $700 and i'd basicly only be playing runescape and browsing the internet.

Wrong section. ;)

Your looking for the Tech and Support section, or possibly the Off-Topic section. Both of which are found further down on the forum.

This "Help and Advice" forum is for in-game support, meaning help in-game.

The forum is devided into several sections:

"Announcements, Runescape, General Discussion" etc

These sections all contain sub sections.

The Help & Advice forum is a sub section of the Runescape section. ;)

But, maybe I can add somewhat of my opinion on this. Perhaps get a laptop from the "Hp" brand? I've always been fond of it, and I have a computer of this brand. :P

Sorry guy this is a RS related forum.

I would say definatly try the Tech & Support forum, they are very very very helpful there. It may take a day or two to get your answer but it is worth it 100%. They helped me get my browsers working again finally.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

But it's in a runescape related section. All of the computer asked questions belong in the "Tech & Support".

I have a HP laptop that's been doing pretty good over the past year. I'd recommend something like this.

Even stock, it's pretty good. The only things I would upgrade are the graphiks card (if you want to, it's impossible to change later) and the memory (a 2nd gig helps with vista). But neither of those are essential.

Stupid, Dell's are well made especially for their price. I don't have much experience with their laptops however.

Anyways this guy has 2 threads going on, so can we just use the other?

Since the author's got another topic here, and there isn't much useful discussion on this one, no point merging the two.
