The hat gives +5 to stab, slash, and crush whereas the berserker helm gives +3 str bonus.

 

 

 

Assuming I'm using a whip, and ignoring defense bonuses, which one is better?

Berserker

I mean as in the penance hat from barbarian assault.

Berserker; if by fighter you mean warrior

 

 

 

No he mean the melee hat from barbarian assault.

Think of it like this, Str will make you hit harder, and Offensive bonuses like stab and slash will make you hit more accurately.

I'd say accuracy... I'd rather hit 15 15 15 15 then 0 0 50 0

 

It may not have as much defense as berserker but the attack bonuses sure do help, especially since it covers the lower defense and strength

It all depends if you have the time to put away and enjoy Barbarian Assualt.

 

 

 

Berserker helm can be bought quickly and you can start training and getting levels/earning profit.

 

 

 

The Fighter Hat will take longer and if you don't like Barbarian Assualt your going to hate getting it and if you die with it, you have to go and get it all over again.

 

 

 

Either will work well however.

The fighter helmet takes longer to get; if you're going to be dying a lot and want accuracy just get a warrior helm.
