gwsm1992
Just a question that I have been curious about for a while. Is it going to be F2P???
Kill_Life
We don't know since Jagex didn't tell yet. So we can't give an answer. We'll have to wait and see/read. ~Kill Life "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do"[Currently playing: K1ll L1f3]
gwsm1992
ok. I wasn't sure if they said anything or not.
Captainkidd
Jagex never said so no one knows, but most people think no, its not going to be F2P.
gwsm1992
I don't think it will be either. Which is going to stink. But we can always hope.
vleademir
i think its going to be both, but some things non members cant do remember combat levels are in effect here it would be kinda strange to have mex for f2p be different than p2p
Our_Moon
~I would assume so. F2p's due for a new Skill, and if it affects Combat Level, you can't have Level 126s and Level 138s with the same stats running around, can you?~

If they have to make people happy to make money then they will...

Our_Moon
~So how can you bring Summoned Monsters to F2p? Members will be restricted to P2p only worlds?~

If they have to make people happy to make money then they will... Pretty much. This is what I see too. They can make it P2P only and just make it so you cannot summon things in F2P. That makes perfect sense as well. Seeing as 138 combat in BH really wouldnt matter since you can't Summon anything in F2P. So there would be no "unfair" advantages. Mr_Adam
I doubt it will be F2P, just because it would be a reason not to play members, taking away money. I wonder what summoning pures will be like... Imagine a lvl 50 running around with a Greater Demon serving him
RazorAce
I think it will be both. If it raises your combat lvl then it will have to be both. And plus, after the huge updates they have made this year, they need it to be both. http://s9.invisionfree.com/pec <--Best clan ever.
J35u5_M4
I don't think so, Jagex won't give F2Ps a skill just like that, maybe they will null the effect of the combat on F2P, so a level 138 in members will appear as a level 126 in F2P EDIT: If you can notice, there is a pet store in Yanille; which is a members place. but there aren't any stores in f2p places
No_99_Melee
No....remember f2p isn't paying for these kinds of services. Also because we have seen the summoning shop in yanille it's only p2p accessible. If hunt is to summoning as mining is to smithing that would also point to p2p only. Don't get your hopes up. Firesign567
Well i asked the same question last week , and was flamed like i was in hell :). And i think it WILL be f2p , because , lately jagex have been focussing on us , and members , as much as they support the game , and the company, dont own runescape ,so they dont need EVERYTHING that comes out. I mean f2p didnt get a new skill for like 4 years , while members got hunting , construction , and i think slayer. :). Sure like i said In MY thread , they can probably give members the importent stuff like the pets and stuffs , but they are most likely gonna give the skill to us, considering the combat level theory. Members don't own the game? If we didn't pay there would be no support for the game to operate....so yeah we own the game.
Firesign567
* claps* good for you and your blind pride. If you stopped paying , jagex would use advertisments to get some money for awhile. Stop pretending you are zezima for ten seconds and open your eyes people! Im not saying anything from this but if we get one thing that you dont get will you stop paying? While you have castle wars , like all the stats , all the privlages , your just gonna quit over 1 skill that you'll probably benefit over? that is pathetic then. :)
No_99_Melee
Im not saying anything from this but if we get one thing that you dont get will you stop paying? LOL....did you just say that non members would get a skill that members can't access? That is the dumbest thing i've ever heard. Yeah of course people would stop paying to try out the new skill. Edit: Zezima's a nice guy and I'm pretty sure he doesn't think he is the god of runescape.
Firesign567
No sorry thats not what i meant! What i mean to say is for example , We have cooking and you have cooking , but members have more access to other recipes. Would you still get [angry] if we got the stat , but you got more to benefit from the stat? Thats what i meant! sorry for the confusion. Please refrain from using obscene language- Dragon_R

If you want summoning this bad why don't you just pay $5 a month? It's less than 25 cents a day

We do pay the money that helps fund the game. You are right in one aspect, without members paying, Advertisements would be Jagex's number one way of income. However they too would have to pay for advertising their own product so if the prices did not cancel out the amount they recieved from allowing other to advertise on their site would be minimal and I personally do not think it would be enough to fund the game and employees who create it. The game would be smaller, less players would play and I believe, personally, the quality of the game would be rather poor. Thats just my 2 cents though I could be wrong. :anxious: Apparently, my signature was to big.
Firesign567
You dude , are right , however the others , are just stupid . I can see the logic coming from your mouth * bows * respect :) As for the others , what if we got summoning though? hm? I dont think you'll quit members just for that because after they'll probably give you a whole new skill... Think about it. And I live in canada so its 10 bucks a month , and im sorry if im not 18 working my [wagon] off , to pay for a game :). I'd rather get a job when im 16 save up for my university/college fund , and then when im done my education , if i have time i'll pay for a game with no end. :)

I dont think you'll quit members just for that because after they'll probably give you a whole new skill... Think about it. And I live in canada Oh I would most definatly not quit members lol. As I am sure various other members wouldn't. F2p and members share over 2/3's of the stats in RS. If they made it for both then P2P would just get more to the skill than non members. Just like all the others, it makes sense  Hows that whole Canadian thing working out? Did they ever find a cure? :P Jk jk, you guys have awesome health care benefits though :anxious: (or so I hear) Apparently, my signature was to big.
