Should I get guthans?

I was thinking about getting guthans because I was gonna do combat for a while after I get 99 wc, is it worth it? My stats att-70 def-70 str-68 hp-69 I was thinking about getting strength up before I get it probably. So, yea is it worth the 8m or so? and I will be selling my d axe which would take a good chunk out of the cost. Thanks.

It has a very good special ability, but make sure you have extra money for the repair costs. Most people recommend it for training and slayer.

with your stats I would say no. Get 100 combat or higher then its more worth it. likes been said, most people use for slayer and combat

I'd say wait until you're higher level. At least 100, training slayer. For now just stick with food and if you want to, get bones to peaches. Gives you a full invent of food for the price of 2 nats. Very good for bloodvelds/ankous/dust devils/infernal mages. Really worth getting.

It is. It's the only Barrows set you absolutely need to effectively train combat. If you have a whip and a black mask, this is the 1 thing you really need for training slayer. And when you get a higher level and want to DK there's no better set than Guthans.

Thats no better set than guthans if you are hybriding. If you are maging then Veracs is your friend and the pray bonus helps for longer trips.

On topic. I would say wait a bit. I think barrows will have a drop here within the next 2 weeks. Not because of the trade update just because its extremely high right now. It's bound to go down just like it has in the past. People will start barrowing more and more for profits and more sets will enter the market.

 

 

 

I would say wait to buy it. Give it a couple weeks. UNLESS you only have 8.4m in your bank. Then I would say don't buy it at all NO item is worth emptying your bank for.
