Looking at the things I could build made me notice- I can't actully use the cage by building a trapdoor until level 74! (with no bonuses) Does anyone else find this odd? What's the point of having an oubilette if you can't use it for another 9 levels? Can be looted to obtain a variable item and reobtain the imp jar. Silver_Corner Posted January 1, 2008 Share Posted January 1, 2008 Well. It gives you an underground combat arena early on before you can make dungeons. You can still use the ladder to go down for combat. As for the throne space options, it wouldnt make sence to have a steel cage work like a lesser cage, simply because why have a drop option before you can even make a basic trap door? The drop option is more a perk for the higher level constructor. Plus you can pot the higher level cages for a total of +9, so really you can make them at a fairly low level.
