January 12, 200818 yr ive been in the wilderness a few times, the same as most people. and i ran into a few reverants. the 3 knights that are together for some reason, tbh. lost a rune scimi there and then... does anyone know what these higher leveled revs drop? i think that it should be pretty good, cos they are ment to simulate a player, with the set amount of food. and for the other thought: if they are meant to simulate players, with the click-and-move system, what would happen if they were to jump over the wilderness ditch? ive heard stories of them being able to do the wilderness agility course, and stories of mass reverant grouping and killing... what would happen? ive seen lots of glitches in runescape. if one were to get into varrock, there is only one result. TOTAL CARNAGE! d drops/ legs(0) chain (0) axes (0) skirts (0) meds(0)/ visage! (0)/ rings (0)-My Blog! Don't forget to post!
January 12, 200818 yr If one were to get into varrock it wouldn't last long, people would be lining up to place blows on that glitch so they could be the one to take it down. Anyway, the ability for revanents to attack is based on wilderness level, I have walked passed revs to high/low to attack me and they have completly ignored me so it probably wouldnt be able to do any damage anyway. As for drop, the best you can get from them is a dragon dagger or a glory. There drops arn't worth the effort to kill them.
January 12, 200818 yr Alpha Koldes - Rev Guide Go to that link, my friend is constructing a sweet guide.
January 12, 200818 yr All i ever get is coins but they are really easy to kill. Grab your best melee armour (high melee def and range def) and pray mage and if wanted use piety, they get to busy eating food or healing or whatever they do that the dont take the time to fire a shot at you.

TOTAL CARNAGE! They're meant to simulate players, which means they have the same restrictions as players (IE: Can't pk outside the wilderness) So they won't be pking outside the wilderness, as long as you hope that Revenants don't discover the joy of player owned houses and lag.
January 12, 200818 yr I'm pretty sure the best drop is a drag dagger (?), so basically what you'd get if you smited a 1-itemer.. Not worth the risk or the food/pots. There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
January 12, 200818 yr well i think that having revs or other monsters once in a while randomly raiding towns or cities would be fun. of course, it would endanger a lot of people and their items, but u have enough time to get it back. 6 years of playing since February 27th 2002still a classic'er Wars aren't won by dying for your country, it is won by making the other sons of b*tches die for theirs.period.

I think they're supposed to just create an atomosphere of danger in the wilderness, and not elsewhere. Fun to dream, though...? -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.
January 13, 200818 yr Revanants are supposed to be there to imitate pkers exactly, which is why they drop common items that pkers leave behind, like ddps and glory amulets.
January 13, 200818 yr All that I have ever gotten in F2P is '187 gp'. :( Anyone else gotten better stuff in F2P? :-s ~Mr. D. V. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
January 13, 200818 yr All that I have ever gotten in F2P is '187 gp'. :( Anyone else gotten better stuff in F2P? :-s ~Mr. D. V. Devnull I doubt that there's anything better to get from the Revenants in F2P. I personally think that Jagex should tweak the drops of a few of the Revenants so they're able to drop a few items that are worth something in F2P. Things like Rune Scimitars/Rune Full helmets etc... ^ Refresh for a new signature ^

I personally think that Jagex should tweak the drops of a few of the Revenants so they're able to drop a few items that are worth something in F2P. Things like Rune Scimitars/Rune Full helmets etc... Maybe Jagex could make an extra F2P quest that would allow better drops? :-s Further, check out the following for better drop ideas for these Revenant monsters, ones that reflect a player's real earnings for killing Revenant monsters... :-k [*:2a8cwq1l]Full Rune Armor Set Boxes and/or Green D'hide Armor Set Boxes (Would require a quest completion and would have to be ultra-rare.) [*:2a8cwq1l]Rune PlateBody and/or Green D'Hide Body (Definite high rarity, can't have it be less. Would be more common than a full set, however.) [*:2a8cwq1l]Rune PlateLegs/PlateSkirt/KiteShield and/or Green D'hide Chaps/Vambraces (Also very rare, but less rare than Body Sections.) [*:2a8cwq1l]Packages of Addy/Mithril Arrows (50/75/100/200) and/or Packages of Death/Chaos Runes (100/200/300/400) (What ranger or mage wouldn't seek a drop of 100 of these all at once?) [*:2a8cwq1l]Giant packages of skilling materials (Self-explanatory, and should be giant quantities, at least 100 or more.) I know the numbers are a bit bloated, but it was to give the idea of how much of a reward that players really have earned if they're going to keep fueling their skill work by going to the trouble of killing these monsters repeatedly. 8-) At this point, I'm going to leave it for people to discuss and expand on. : ~Mr. D.
