June 24, 200818 yr Half Life 2 + Episodes 1 & 2 + Portal + Team Fortress series EP2 I think was probably the highlight of the Half life series so far, it was wonderfully done. EP1 was "more of the same" really. Of course HL2 was amazing, but I think I would still edge out EP1 a bit ahead of it. Oh and portal goes without saying. :thumbup:

June 25, 200818 yr MGS4. The best game I have ever played. At certain moments, I even shed a tear. Not many games have done that to me, but this really was something special. [hide=MEGA SPOILERS]I thought Raiden was dead when he got crushed by haven, I was so sad, he was the most awesome guy in this game, and going through the microwave corridor, I got up out of my chair and was desperately mashing triangle, shouting 'COME ON SNAKE! YOU CAN DO IT! DON'T GIVE UP NOW! That scene, it's so horrible to see snake suffering like that, but as through the rest of the game, he keeps going, just by the strength of his will. Also*MEGA MEGA SPOILER* when he meets Big Boss at the end, and he says, 'This is good, isn't it? Beatiful stuff.[/hide] ~Boo So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth, These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf, Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in, Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything, Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel, Tear up the book and write your own damn rules, Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got, And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut, And realise that the other world that you're always looking for, Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door, And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas, After all, you were put on the earth to do this, So shine your light so bright that all can see, Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

July 1, 200818 yr If I had to pick one, I'd go with Mass Effect. Brilliant story, excellent combat, great graphics, and it's one of the only 20+ hour games I've went through multiple times.
