June 18, 200818 yr Final Fantasy VI. Edit: Ops thought you was a VII fan boy, forgot to count properly -.-. Anyways VIII > VI in my opinion.
June 19, 200818 yr Tetris. Nuff said. I fully agree but of the games listed in the poll I'd have to go with Ocarina of Time
June 19, 200818 yr OMG, Where the [bleep] is Half Life 2? 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down!
June 20, 200818 yr Shadowrun Call of Duty 4. And lets not forget Timesplitter:Future Perfect Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.Sounds like Jagex to me...
June 20, 200818 yr Tetris. Nuff said. Well said. Without this, there would be no video games. ~Boo So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth, These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf, Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in, Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything, Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel, Tear up the book and write your own damn rules, Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got, And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut, And realise that the other world that you're always looking for, Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door, And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas, After all, you were put on the earth to do this, So shine your light so bright that all can see, Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.
June 23, 200818 yr Zelda and mario Can you get anymore nintendo fanboy-ish? They both rock. Zelda's a given since it's the best game in the universe, so technically, he's only saying he likes Mario. I'm not really a fanboy for a single given system. For instance, Dark Cloud 1 was flipping awesome. And Halo set a new standard, revolutionizing FPS's. Okay, maybe I'm a little bit of a Nintendo fanboy, but I appreciate everything else, too.
June 23, 200818 yr Earthbound. ! DING! ZOOM! [/saturn] Seriously, who can forget this Classic Epic? In my opinion it is the best Video-game ever.
June 23, 200818 yr Zelda and mario As I call the kid next door...Nintendork... Not saying nintendo is bad...I just find that their games aren't appealing to kids as much anymore...I guess kids prefer raping and killing hookers more nowadays... What happened to the good old days when everybody wasted quarters to play pac-man. Not saying GTA is bad...It should just be kept away from most kids, they don't seem to be learning much from it...should be sold only to adults (but of course kids will still play it...) I don't like kids playing overly violent games like that...games like those should be only for adults. Anywho...back to the point of this thread. I vote Metal Gear and Splinter Cell (Though not on the list). I think Snake is awesome, and I also think Sam is hilarious. The Splinter Cell books are great. Have not read the Metal Gear book though...just came out...
June 23, 200818 yr Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time of course 8-). He speaks the truth!! Website Updates & Corrections | Website Discussion
June 23, 200818 yr I can't decide. COD4 for an FPS Banjo-Kazooie series for nostalgia Ocarina of Time for graphics (At time of release) Portal for general fun Golden Eye for gameplay Tetris for addictiveness and simplicity Basically, there are too many ways to measure a game, making it near impossible for me to choose the best game, however I will just default to my favourite, the Banjo-Kazooie series. I cannot wait for Nuts & Bolts to come out. I think I will be having a lot of fun with the massive customization of the vehicles. Unfortunately it still has a few months until release. I never did get why companies don't release games for the summer. I run out of original playing by the start of the summer. So my vote goes to Banjo-Kazooie. Nintendo 64 was THE best system released, to date. I cannot think of anything with better games, game play, and just general fun. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
June 23, 200818 yr You put OoT in there only for the graphics? :o That's but one facet of that masterpiece of video gaming history.
June 23, 200818 yr You put OoT in there only for the graphics? :o That's but one facet of that masterpiece of video gaming history. I put it in there only for graphics because I have not played it fully. I have played about a fifth of it at most I believe. Unfortunately I cannot find it anywhere, and I do not like shopping online. Well, I know a few friends who I can buy it off of, but I meant it literally when I said I could not find it anywhere, me and a friend spent a good half hour looking for it before I decided to get it off someone else. I'm not even sure if I've played a fifth of the game, depends how far into the game the Groudon dungeon is. Basically, I BADLY want to play it more, but me playing depends on the availability for it from friends and EB games. Trust me, I wish I could put it up there for more than storyline, but I can't do that until I've played the full game through. Also note that I didn't put anything else for story ;) There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
June 23, 200818 yr Not sure why you'd put OoT there for graphics. Yeah, it was a really good game but I didn't find the art direction that amazing, especially compared to other games.
June 23, 200818 yr Not sure why you'd put OoT there for graphics. Yeah, it was a really good game but I didn't find the art direction that amazing, especially compared to other games. I put it for graphics just because I love the graphics style. Also, almost every N64 game I've played, with the exceptions of Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and SSB, in the past year, I did not like because of graphics. The gameplay was good, but I just couldn't stand the graphics when I'm used to the "next-generation" graphics of the Xbox 360. Besides, this is personal preference, if you can't understand why I rate something the way I do, I don't think I will be able to explain it better than this on an internet forum. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. I just think other games have a better art direction, that's all. :P OoT wasn't really "known" for it's graphics.
