Beldum.

Only EV'ed so far, training will start when Pokérus runs out. Hopefully tomorrow. (I don't like infecting Pokémon without reason...)

Will become Metagross and Dragonite ofcourse.

I've been thinking of Spec Jolteon, but it's a pita to get the TM for Thunderbolt (Voltorb Flip) and it can't be bred onto an Eevee.

Wait, is the tournament on Shoddy or not? I thought you could just input whatever EV's/IV's you wanted.

Yes, there are people who train in the real thing :P (In my case: SoulSilver)

In the real game I make teams specifically to piss of my friends.

I have a team of 6 Snorlaxes for playing my fat friend :D

And I actually have a beastly Porygon-Z that pretty much destroys them, it makes everyone mad. Then certain people hate certain pokemon so I have them, like I have a lv100 Dewgong and Sudowoodo for my friend that hates both of them. Fun stuffs icon_thumbsu.gif

I love the idea of an agility PZ, but a big issue I found is: what can it actually set up on? I actually was considering running sash over life orb just because I felt I didn't even really need the power when I got a Special Attack raise, but I then decided to just scrap the whole idea.

The [bleep] does any of that mean? I play for fun, you're overcomplicating a game.

Same here. I don't understand 2 thirds of this thread. Maybe more.

EDIT: Forget it. All this talk of EVs goes far beyond my Pokemon expertise :P

All you really need to know is that higher is better

Yeah, on Shoddy when making your team, just put 252 in the two stats you want to be the strongest, and 6 in something else.

Tournament? Sure, count me in.

Anyone know how to get shoddy on your ipod? I read a guide on it but I'm confused...

Alright, fine, I'll give it a try

But it won't be funny. It will be pure slaughter.

What do all the clauses mean? I'm not well versed in modern pokemans.

Basically we are playing on a battle simulator. This simulator allows you to customize rules to make the match more fair/quicker/less cheap. For example, Sleep Clause only allows one Pokemon on each time to be asleep at a time (exception: a pokemon using Rest). This makes it so the game isn't a match Dependant on who can sleep the most Pokemon. Evasion clause prevents you from using moves that increase your own evasion. This prevents two Pokemon from using double team all day and making the match drag on for god knows how long.

If you search up the other rules, you'll find what they all mean. They really make very little difference other than Sleep, Freeze, and Evasion clause. You'd probably have to make minimal considerations.

Also, Kc, can we standard a server to use? Smogon server is absolute trash if you are playing non-ladder matches. It gets so laggy that matches can take over three times as long to complete. I'd recommend the CAP server (which is also owned by Smogon, but with far less lag), Team Uber, or Pokemonexperte. The last two are sometimes down for whatever reason, but perhaps make a list of servers, going down the list only if the previous options are out.

Most servers all share the same tier system. The 4 I mentioned all do. So as long as you have the team to your computer, you can use it on any server.

No actual shoddy, but you can use your ipod to vnc into your computer.
