I wouldnt say I am an expert but I am pretty decent due to using Shiek.. Err, it's not hard to airdodge or shield really, you have to be predictible, and rolling backwards is a good idea too, it has kinda limited range. Rolling forward is kinda good too but it also depends if your opponent is predictible or not. Does he/she explode it in your face or further away? I dont need a siggy no moar. And they heal off the fire, a good Zelda probably wont use it much then.. But if Zelda switches to Shiek, you will probably get owned. I dont need a siggy no moar. If you hit Zelda when she uses Din's Fire, she loses control of it and it just floats off-screen, harmless. Din's Fire travels pretty slow, so most projectiles can outrun it (Wolf/Falco's lasers, Pit's arrows, Sheik's needles, etc.). ~It's Super Effective! Usally I would throw an Aura Sphere or a Pikmin at him but The Aura Sphere usually misses or get Nayru Love'd, the Pikmin is just luck I just got to hope for a light far traveling one.
